Throughout the SnyderVerse, there have been quite a few epic moments that just can’t be countered by any other flick from the DC Universe. This stands true even when it comes to those Zack Snyder films that weren’t quite welcomed all that warmly, like Justice League – though the filmmaker made up for it with his own Snyder Cut of the same.

Talking about ZSJL in particular, there were quite a few iconic scenes that went down to be etched in fans’ minds permanently. And while Henry Cavill’s Superman singlehandedly beating up the Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and even trashing Batman was one of those fan-favorite moments, the best place has been taken by one other unparalleled scene.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League‘s best moment wasn’t Superman’s supremacy

While Warner Bros. failed to keep up with his genius, the extended Snyder Cut gave fans just what they had been looking for. This included a finely crafted fight between Henry Cavill‘s Man of Steel and the rest of the DC superheroes after Ben Affleck‘s Batman convinced everyone to help him wake Clark back from the dead using the power of a motherbox.
But the best moment was unarguably when Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman shows up at the Dark Knight’s residence to talk about the fight with Darkseid that had already reached them. While the original Justice League cut short this moment with minimal visuals and dialogue as Diana explained about the motherboxes and their threat to Bruce, the Snyder Cut didn’t hold back.
Diving into the extensive history of when a great Armada appeared in the sky and Darkseid was met in battle by earth’s defenders, which included “the old gods, men… Atlanteans before their descent into the sea… Amazons before their betrayal and enslavement and guardians from the stars,” Diana painted the picture in front of Bruce of how formidable Darkseid was.
While the story was one thing, what made it all even better were the stunning visuals as Zack Snyder ensured his viewers could see just how he envisioned Darkseid attacking the planet and the earth’s defenders coming to its rescue. All of this made the Snyder Cut scene so much better than the original one that fans can’t help but bring it back to reminisce about it now.
Fans are calling this scene “Zack Snyder’s finest hour”

Because of the beautiful way this scene was crafted visually, it earned a lot of praise from fans worldwide, who are now even remembering it as “Snyder’s finest hour.” But while that credit goes to the filmmaker, fans are also complaining about how Gadot’s narration felt like she was reading from a piece of paper, which pretty much ruined the scene.
All in all, taking to X, here’s what they have to say:

Zack Snyder at his best.

I’m sorry but listening to Gal narrate this part of the movie was a bad choice. I still don’t understand how Darksied is able to be beaten so easily and how he completely forgets where Earth is located. It’s a cool scene but it doesn’t make sense.

And yet it sounds like Gal Gadot was reading from a piece of paper. Horrible actress. Killed the scene.
