A 56-YEAR-OLD X Factor star looked like she’s ageing backwards as she walked the red carpet 13 years after shocking the judges with her stunning vocals.
Melanie Masson wowed with a very glam look on Wednesday night, as she attended the press night after party for Jamie Lloyd Company’s Much Ado About Nothing.

The event took place at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and Melanie opted for a black dress, tights and black boots for the occasion.
The X Factor star was a vision in her outfit, as she wore her hair in loose curls and opted for a beautiful makeup look.
She posed for photos on the red carpet, throwing a pout at the camera.
Melanie was also pictured with her husband Forbes, who was in great spirits next to his singing star wife, as he posed in a black jacket and white shirt.
Actor Forbes and X Factor finalist wife Melanie have been joined in the entertainment industry by their two kids Rua and Ramsay.
In 2018, their daughter was handpicked by Rowan Atkinson for the role of kiddie agent Ridley in an instalment of his spy spoof movies, Johnny English Strikes Again.
And their son Ramsay landed a leading part in the West End musical Fun Home.
Melanie once said: “Our whole house is full of music, singing and people practising their lines — we’re just like The Von Trapps.”
Their kids have grown up surrounded by showbiz with Falkirk-born Forbes starting his career as one half of the comedy double act Victor & Barry with pal Alan Cumming, who went on to make his name in Hollywood.
He also took on the serious role of pervy maths teacher Rod Morris in EastEnders in 2000, before a lengthy stint with The Royal Shakespeare Company.
Forbes met Melanie Marcus at a party held by Downton Abbey actress Simone Lahbib before they married in 2005 at 14th-century Balgonie Castle in Fife — attended by Lahbib and Cumming.
Melanie then had her own shot of glory on X Factor in 2012 where she was mentored by Gary Barlow through to the live finals after wowing viewers with her version of Janis Joplin’s Cry Baby.
She says: “Our two kids have grown up in the industry. Rua first came into the recording studio with me when she was four months old.
“Ramsay took some of his first steps on stage at the Royal Shakespeare Company when Forbes was performing there.”
The kids’ CVs also make for impressive reading with them both landing their first acting gigs when they were just four years old. Rua has made shows for Nickelodeon Juniors while Ramsay has worked for the Disney Channel and appeared in the 2016 BBC1 drama Motherland.
