The actor only revealed one major piece of information, which is the potential involvement of Zendaya.

The original was directed by Peter Berg and featured Smith as John Hancock, an alcoholic, amnesiac superhero who tries to rebuild his image. The next installment’s plot details are under wraps, but having a talented actress like Zendaya on board opens up the door to many possibilities.
She is one of the most sought-after talents in Hollywood at the moment, thanks to her role as Rue in Euphoria, for which she won two Emmys. Moreover, she also has mass appeal due to being a part of the Spider-Man franchise.
Michael B. Jordan and Will Smith team up for I Am Legend 2
It’s been nearly two decades since we saw the post-apocalyptic world of I Am Legend on screen, and Will Smith is about to bring it back. On the same stream, the actor confirmed that I Am Legend 2 is officially in development, with Michael B. Jordan as his co-star.
