For the first time ever in a Like a Dragon/Yakuza game, fan-favorite Goro Majima has been granted the role of sole protagonist in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and the game is better for it. Shortly after washing up on a Rich Island beach and suffering from amnesia, Majima becomes the pirate captain of the Goromaru, which ultimately becomes the vessel he uses to sail across the seas in search of his lost memory. Arguably, there is no one in the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series more fitting for the role of pirate captain than Goro Majima, as he effortlessly proves in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
