As many of us know, UGG is famous for their ultra-cozy boots and slippers. But there’s also pair of sneakers that’s quietly rising in popularity and can’t seem to stay in stock. We’re talking about the ultra-stylish, 2000s skate shoe-inspired, UGG Lowmel Sneaker.
The UGG Lowmel Sneaker is the perfect shoe to wear as we start transitioning between winter and spring. Per its description, it was made to give “nostalgic West Coast vibes in the best way.” Thanks to its thick two-toned laces, it really takes you back to the early 2000s when everyone was wearing skate shoes from DC Shoes and Etnies. Not only are these super stylish, the brand designed these with “soft, spring-inspired materials” and added a mesh vamp so these can be worn comfortably during warmer weather.
In all honesty, they’re probably one of our favorite UGG styles ever. It’s no wonder these sell out all the time. We’ve been stalking these since the holidays, hoping they’d come back in stock. Fortunately, they are back in stock in all four colors (some are backordered but set to ship starting February 28). Chestnut and Sand are two of the more popular colors as they’re definitely classic UGG. Naturally, these two tend to be the first to go. You also can’t go wrong with Ceramic or Smoke Plume, both of which are super versatile and way more spring-friendly, in our opinion.
The UGG Lowmel is a brand best-seller with hundreds of perfect, five-star reviews. Numerous shopper raved over how cute it looked, with many saying they get a ton of compliments whenever they wear it. Others also mentioned how comfortable the shoes are to wear.
“Best shoes I’ve ever bought,” wrote one reviewer. “My feet are always cold from nerve damage due to multiple surgeries, but they are never cold with these shoes. I was concerned they would be too tight, but I wore them the entire day for two days and broke them in. Not heavy, just cozy, comfortable, with excellent arch and heel support. They are easy to put on, too (just pull the tongue). Did I mention they are really cute?”
Another shopper said they would buy these “over and over again.” The wrote, “These are my absolute favorite shoes. Every color is a must and they are by far one of the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn (and the cutest!). The style is so unique, and I’ve become addicted to say the least.”
One reviewer even wrote these make a great alternative to Prada. “I love these shoes!” they said. “They have the comfort of UGG boots, but are better looking than the traditional tall and low boots. These are also a great alternative to the Prada Suede Mid-Top Sneaker. In my opinion, they look very similar. Although these are expensive, they’re a fraction of the cost of the Prada shoes … They’re super cute, lightweight, and comfortable.”
Keep in mind, some shoppers say these can run a bit small or do require some break-in time. So, be sure to keep that in mind while you’re picking out which size you want to get.
As mentioned before, UGG’s Lowmel Sneaker constantly sells out. In fact, it’s hard to find most sizes still available to shop in all colors anywhere else. Because of that, we highly recommend ordering yourself a pair before they’re completely sold out again.
