The A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is one of the most popular romantasy book series of the past decade, making the TV show adaptation of the work all the more exciting. Up until recently, Disney had the rights to the novels, with Hulu slated to release the project sometime in the future. However, Hulu’s ACOTAR show isn’t happening, which wasn’t completely unexpected, but it’s a disappointing turn of events for fantasy fans. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Disney has decided not to go through with a major fantasy project like ACOTAR.
