In terms of character development and world-building, it doesn’t get much more impressive than AMC’s The Walking Dead. There’s no doubt Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is the show’s best villain and one of the creepiest and most dangerous characters. There’s also no doubt that Morgan’s portrayal is what made this character so great. He’s so talented that it was impossible to turn away from Negan, no matter how dark or violent he became.
