NEW “luxury” and discounted apartments have hit the rental market in Dublin today.
The new discounted homes are located at Google’s recently redeveloped Bolands Mills quarter in Dublin 4.

They have been given to Cluid from Google on a 25-year lease on one condition – they are to be supplied to key workers in the area.
The luxury apartments are set to be rented out for below-market prices and have started being advertised today.
The new scheme comprises of 35 two-bedroom apartments, 10 three-bedroom flats and one larger three-bedroom apartment all at a discounted rate compared to other homes in the area.
The two-bedroom apartments are going for €1,710 per month, with a three-bed at €1,850.
The larger of the three-bedrooms is priced at €2,100 per month.
This is a significant discount compared to similar apartments in the area, at respective rates of 27 and 36 per cent for Dublin 4.
However, to nab one of the limited apartments, there are a number of conditions that must be met.
The new scheme is targeting key workers in the Docklands community, with key workers being defined as someone who provides a vital service for the local community and wider society.
This includes those working in public safety, healthcare, education, transport, law and order and infrastructure.
Another condition that must be met for these homes is that applicants can prove they have a connection to the local area within a 1.5km radius of the apartment block.
The connections can include being born and raised there, living in the area for a minimum of five years, having immediate family in the area or working in the area.

The state-of-the-art apartments include a winter garden, open plan living and access to local public transport routes.

The homes come unfurnished, with flooring, blinds and white goods including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, and washer/dryer all installed.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
To apply, the household size must match the size of the property advertised.
This means the two-bedrooms are equipped for two single adults in a house share, or cohabiting couple/lone parent with one or two children.
The three-bedrooms are suitable for three single adults in a house share, or a couple and two single adults in a house share, or cohabiting couple/lone parent with two to three children.
The larger of the three-bedrooms can extend to a family with up to four children.
