The sci-fi movie is a cult classic, having followed the titular character on a mission to retrieve a scientist, when she crash lands on a strange planet. While the original film had mixed critical reviews, it has developed a dedicated cult following over time. The new adaptation, which is currently in development and will be directed by Edgar Wright, will feature Sweeney as the titular space adventurer.
