STORM Herminia has added to the sporting fixture chaos caused by Storm Eowyn with Wicklow’s meeting with Waterford now cancelled.
The Division 4 NFL fixture was called off at short notice on Sunday morning.
At 11:44am Wicklow GAA tweeted: “Our Allianz Football League Roinn 4 game against Waterford has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
“Alternate venues have been checked but all are unplayable.
“Thanking you for your patience. Rescheduled date will be posted once available.”
Sunday’s scheduled Division match-up between Kerry and Donegal had already fallen by the wayside as the Donegal team had no safe way to travel all the way down to Killarney.
Saturday morning also brought with it word of Leitrim against Laois being pushed back until today, Sunday January 26.
