Ryan Seacrest Reveals He Spent Valentine’s Day With His ‘True Love’: ‘True Love Is So Special’

Ryan Seacrest revealed how he spent Valentine’s Day nine months after his breakup from Aubrey Paige Petcosky.

In an Instagram post shared on February 14, Ryan, 50, smiled as he held up a heart-shaped pizza in a box. The radio host wore a patterned button-down shirt and his signature grin could not be missed in the picture.

“Cheese on the pizza and extra cheese on the grin… Happy #ValentinesDay to my true love — food,” he captioned the playful snapshot.

“You’re tugging at my heartstrings. Pizza!” one person commented on the post, to which Ryan replied, “Everyone’s favorite love language.”

“True love is so special,” the official American Idol Instagram account wrote in a comment underneath the post with a pizza emoji.

“Happy Valentine’s Day!” the official Wheel of Fortune Instagram account wrote.

As the host of both American Idol and Wheel of Fortune, Ryan’s certainly got a lot on his plate with work. A source previously told Closer in May 2024 that his busy schedule was to blame for his April 2024 breakup with Aubrey, 27.

“Ryan’s so busy, and that didn’t help,” an insider told Closer at the time. “His schedule left little time for Aubrey as it was, so they decided it was best to call it quits.”

The source also said that Aubrey was hoping that the entertainment mogul would pop the question after three years of dating.

“She wants marriage and kids,” the insider said. “That shouldn’t come as a shock.”

A separate source told Closer that even Ryan’s American Idol costars were also pushing him to take the next step in his relationship with Aubrey.

“They want him and Aubrey to start a family,” an insider told Closer in April 2024 before their shocking split. “Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan have both been telling him about the joys of fatherhood, and during a live American Idol airing, Katy Perry actually yelled at him, ‘Yes, it’s time!’”

In December 2024, Ryan shared some rare insight about his love life and his hopes for finding a romantic partner during an appearance on Good Morning America to promote Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.

GMA anchor Rebecca Jarvis said that there are always a lot of proposals happening in Manhattan’s Times Square when the ball drops each year.
“And then you have people proposing in Times Square literally, like, ‘Let’s get married,’” Rebecca, 43, said.

“Yes, that’s something that’s happened almost every single year. Some of it makes TV, some of it doesn’t, but people love that moment to say, ‘Will you be with me for the rest of our lives?’” Ryan, who has never been engaged or married, replied.

Will Reeve, who was newly engaged at the time of the GMA broadcast said, “I should have done the proposal on New Year’s Eve with Ryan. [Fiancée] Amanda [Dubin] would have said no.”

“There’s still time for me,” Ryan quipped, leading Will, 32, to respond, “You’ve got this, Ryan. We won’t rush you, though.”

“Yeah, please. I’m taking my time,” Ryan concluded with a laugh.
