RTE star Maura Derrane looked incredible on Today as she stepped out in a statement green velvet suit – but it has a hefty price tag.
The Galway native was back on screens alongside her long-time co-host Daithi O’Se for another jam-packed episode of fashion, lifestyle and chat.
Maura is well-known for her sophisticated sense of style and Wednesday’s TV look was a total standout.
The 54-year-old donned a beautiful forest green tailored blazer and matching flared trousers from the designer Joseph Ribkoff.
The popular presenter looked effortlessly chic in the formal look – and the colour was a perfect nod to winter.
However, the stylish suit came with an eye-watering price tag, the Bottle Green Velvet Blazer retails for €251 alone.
While the Velvet Flared Pull-On Trousers were priced at €156.
In total, Maura’s screen outfit came in at a whopping €407 – but it was totally worth it.
But fear not, if the designer suit is not in your budget, there is similar bottle green velvet suit on Reiss for just €80.
Maura opted to style her suit with a simple olive green satin vest top underneath.
She finished it off with a pair of black velvet heeled boots and wore her favourite gold hoop earrings.
As for her makeup, Maura went for a bold smokey-eye and peach coloured lipstick.
While her brunette hair looked stunning in her usual tight curls.
Separately, Maura recently updated her fans on the damage her family home suffered during storm Eowyn.
The Irish star also revealed that she had struggled to contact her sister during the time.
In a post shared to Instagram, Maura looked fabulous as she posed on set in the RTE studios.
As she showed off her look, Maura also updated fans on the condition of her home amidst storm Eowyn, and explained that she can’t contact her sister.
She said: “Hope you are all safe and sound after the storm. The gutter fell off our house during the night, but it was nothing compared to what my family and friends went through on Inis Mór and other parts of the country.
“I still can’t get in touch with my sister on the island as the phones are not working there, and the electricity went out at 2am.
“Thinking of all of you today who may have had damage to your homes and property.
“Hopefully we can provide a bit of respite from the gales today. I wouldn’t be going for a walk in this dress today!”
Maura finished off on a positive note as she added: “But it’s perfect inside the studio where it’s warm and cozy.”
