After his introduction in Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s series premiere, John de Lancie’s Q quickly became one of Star Trek’s most popular recurring characters. Q appeared in 8 total episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, as well as episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek: Picard. A member of the mysterious Q Continuum, Q had all the powers (and hubris) of a god, and he developed a particular fascination for humanity.
