Parks and Recreation Cast: What Are They Doing in 2025?

Seven seasons long, Parks and Recreation followed a familiar sitcom troupe, of a mockumentary style series made famous by the likes of The Office and Modern Family. An 8.6-rated series on IMDB, Parks and Recreation gave its fans innumerable iconic moments and a wealth of memorable characters.

From Chris Pratt to Rob Lowe, the series became an important part of a number of careers during its run and completely deserves the love and praise it continues to get. That also seems to be true with respect to the way the cast gelled off the screen, with Lowe only recently revealing how the major actors on the show have continued to keep in touch, even all these years later.

However, where did their careers lead them? While fans will be well aware of the kind of growth names such as Chris Pratt have undergone, the same is true for a range of other faces as well.

Amy Poehler (Leslie Knope)

Amy Poehler, who played the quaint and ambitious Leslie Knope, has continued her successful career in comedy and film. She starred in and directed Wine Country and Moxie, reunited with Tina Fey for Sisters, and provided the voice of Joy in Inside Out and Inside Out 2, the latter becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time in 2024. Beyond acting, Poehler co-hosts NBC’s craft competition series Making It with Nick Offerman and previously produced Duncanville. She also remains an influential figure in Hollywood as a director and producer and also voiced the character of Joy in the animated miniseries, Dream Productions.

Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson)

Nick Offerman’s role as Ron Swanson made him a fan favorite, and he has since taken on diverse projects, including Fargo, Good Omens, Devs, and Pam & Tommy. His standout performance as Bill in HBO’s The Last of Us earned him an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in 2023. (IMDB)

Offerman continues to write, recently publishing Where the Deer and the Antelope Play. He remains married to Megan Mullally, who played Ron’s ex-wife Tammy on Parks and Recreation. Rashida Jones (Ann Perkins)

Rashida Jones, known for playing Ann Perkins, has built an impressive career as an actress, writer, and director. She starred in Angie Tribeca, BlackAF, and On the Rocks alongside Bill Murray.

After some time away from the public eye, Ansari is working on Good Fortune, a new comedy film, while continuing his stand-up career. He married forensic data scientist Serena Skov Campbell in 2022. Ansari was most recently seen as a voice actor in The Bob’s Burgers Movie.

Chris Pratt (Andy Dwyer)

Chris Pratt became one of Hollywood’s biggest stars post-Parks and Recreation. He led the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchises and voiced Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023).

In his personal life, Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019. The couple has three children: daughters Lyla and Eloise and their newborn son, Ford, born in November 2024. Pratt is currently preparing for the release of The Electric State and is associated with projects such as Mercy and Way of the Warrior Kid.

Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt)

Adam Scott transitioned seamlessly into both drama and comedy, starring in Big Little Lies, The Good Place, and Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. His most notable role is Mark in the Apple TV+ series Severance, earning him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2022.

Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate)

Another star who got her first big breakthrough via Parks and Recreation, Aubrey Plaza has taken on several diverse roles since her days as April Ludgate. She starred in Legion, Ingrid Goes West, Happiest Season, and season 2 of HBO’s The White Lotus, which won the Golden Globe for Best Limited Series in 2023.
