Fans of the Sussex family have now seen Princess Lilibet twice in less than one week, and that’s a lot. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are extremely (and understandably) private when it comes to showing pictures of their kids Prince Archie, 5 and Princess Lilibet, 3, so we were stunned when Markle shared a video of both of her kids preparing a Valentine’s Day breakfast.
Now, we are even more shocked to see that a rare photo of Princess Lilibet could be a permanent fixture in Markle’s new business venture. The Duchess of Sussex dropped some major news today, announcing that her lifestyle brand “American Riviera Orchard” is getting a new name. (A la Kylie Jenner renaming her son Aire.)
The company will now be called “As ever,” the former senior royal explained in an Instagram post. Whereas the former name restricted her to products manufactured and grown in the Santa Barbara area, the name “As ever” — which she reportedly secured in 2022 — gives her more options.
“[It] means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always,’” she said.
For some time now, Markle has signed her posts with “As ever, Meghan,” so it really does seem fitting. Along with the video announcement came a new website for the brand. Right now, there’s just a landing page with the ability to subscribe to updates, and the only imagery is a stunning and rare shot of Markle with her daughter.
In the dreamy photo, the Duchess and the Princess walk barefoot across a field. Their shadows stretch across the grass, and their long hair flows effortlessly down their backs. As for their outfits, they are each rocking light and airy pieces, and this might even be another secret twinning moment for Princess Lilibet.
Behind them are lush trees (including a couple of palm trees!), the bluest of skies, and a peek at the Pacific Ocean, per People. Honestly, it’s all just so breathtaking and wholesome. Some might say it’s the perfect photo to relaunch a lifestyle brand.
What we say is that it’s so nice to see more of the quickly-growing toddler. It looks like Princess Lilibet could be nearly at her mom’s hip. She and her brother seem to have gotten so big overnight, but maybe that’s because we go long stretches without seeing them. But if Markle’s recent return to social media and her new website are any indication, we might be seeing a whole lot more of King Charles III’s more elusive grandkids, and we would certainly love that.
