MATILDA Draper took a savage swipe at ex-boyfriend Sean Stone as she opened up about their split.
The former Love Island couple split just weeks after leaving the villa last year.
Matilda, 24, has since moved on with The Only Way Is Essex star Roman Hackett and will make her debut on the ITVBe reality show this week.
Speaking ahead of her first Towie appearance, she opened up about her split from Sean, 24 – suggesting she only saw the ‘real’ him after they left the show.
She told Closer: “I broke up with Sean a month after we left the villa. Before that my ex was two years ago.
“When you come out [of the villa] is when you know who people are in real life rather than in this bubble. You know if it is going to work or not.”
But Matilda revealed she and Roman, 22, have already met each other’s families.
She continued: “We have spent so much time around each other. Also, I feel like neither of us have been like this with someone else. All of my friends see Ro as one of their friends.
“They love him to bits. All your family and my family are really close and it is really nice. It is really lovely.”
This week Roman hit out at his on/off Towie flame Dani Imbert.
Opening up about first meeting Matilda during a trip to Dubai, Roman said: “Dani, obviously, had met Matilda beforehand.
“And obviously when I was in Dubai with Matilda, Dani was there as well. So she kind of saw firsthand what was happening between me and Matilda.”
Roman sarcastically added: “So she’s really happy for the pair of us. She’s jealous because she wants to have what we have.”
But rather than let any bad blood linger, Matilda insisted they had plans to help Dani move on.
“We’re going to set her up,” she said, with Roman adding: “We’re going to set her up with someone.”
