MIDDLESBROUGH have completed the loan signing of Mark Travers.
Michael Carrick identified the Bournemouth keeper as a target after Sol Brynn and Seny Dieng were sidelined through injury.
There was some doubt over whether the Cherries would sanction the move after another of their back-up keepers Will Dennis picked up a knock.
But it has now been confirmed he will link up with international colleagues Finn Azaz and the currently-crocked Darragh Lenihan on Teesside.
Travers, 25, has made 70 league appearances for Bournemouth but is behind Kepa Arrizabalaga – on loan from Chelsea – in the pecking order this season, although he has made five Premier League appearances this term.
The Kildare man was due to spend all of last season on loan with Stoke City but was recalled after just 13 games because of an injury to the then no 1 Neto, now on loan at Arsenal.
