Margot co-starred with actor Will Smith in the 2015 movie Focus which has become a runaway smash with fans on Netflix after being uploaded to the site.
An action-packed comedy hit – it follows a con man called Nicky, played by Will, who manages to take the attractive Jess Barrett (Robbie) under his wing as he begins to teach her how to become a crook like him.
However, Nicky finds himself besotted and infatuated with Jess and struggles to teach her the ways of the conning world as he increasingly focuses on his attraction towards her.
Packed with crime, lust and drama, the film performed well upon release at Valentine’s in 2015 but soon became one of Margot’s least remembered and notable roles.
Thanks to Netflix, the film has since seen life breathed into it after finding itself in the top five of the streamer’s weekly rankings throughout November.
Last week, the movie was understood to have raked in 5.4 million views to become the 5th most-watched movie across the globe.
Focus is not the only forgotten film that Netflix fans have been obsessed with.
Fans have also been left obsessed with a hidden 2020 thriller titled The Hunt after it was made available to stream.
In the film, 12 working class members wake up in unfamiliar surroundings and are forced to establish how and why to get there.
A dastardly twist is soon unveiled when it is revealed that the 12 have been kidnapped by ruthless leaders who are planning to use them for sport.
It became one of the most controversial films in recent years as a result of its apparent connection political divide and unrest in the US with even Donald Trump appearing to have a pop at the film.
Whilst he never directly addressed it, it is understood that a tweet he made about a major movie in which he said it was created “in order to inflame and cause chaos” was about The Hunt.
