A MAN has been seriously injured after suffering what’s believed to be crush injuries after part of a structure fell on him.
The incident occurred at the town of Kilfinane in Co Limerick this morning at around 10am.
It is understood the man was carrying out works on a building in the town when part of a wall may have collapsed on him.
A major emergency services response swing into action including an air ambulance, paramedics, Gardai and firefighters.
The man’s condition is believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
It’s unclear if it was a workplace related incident.
The Health and Safety Authority, which investigates workplace related injuries, has been contacted for comment.
