A MAN has died after he was found in a serious condition in a car in the town of Rathkeale, west county Limerick overnight.
The driver, aged in his 60s, was found at the scene at around 10pm.

Gardai are investigating a number of lines of enquiry including that the man may have suffered a medical emergency while behind the wheel of the vehicle.
Officers sealed off the scene and confirmed that investigations into the incident are currently “ongoing”.
It did not appear that any other vehicle was involved.
A Garda spokeswoman said Gardai were “alerted to a fatal road traffic incident that occurred on Lower Main Street, Rathkeale, Co Limerick on the night of Tuesday 18th February, 2025”.
A statement continued: “At approximately 10pm Gardai assisted emergency services at the scene.
“A man, aged in his 60s was removed from the scene to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced deceased.
“A post mortem examination will take place in due course. No other injuries were reported.”
The Garda spokeswoman concluded: “Investigations are ongoing.”
Separately, a man in his 70s was killed in a different fatal crash last night.
Gardai and emergency services were called to the scene of a fatal road traffic incident near Killinick, Co Wexford earlier yesterday evening.
The collision, involving four vehicles, occurred on the N25 at Orristown at around 5.15pm.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
URGENT APPEAL
His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
No other injuries were reported.
A technical examination is being carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators this morning.
Gardai urged anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N25 in the area between 4:30pm and 5:30pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardai.
