MOROCCO’S flag carrier is launching flights from London Stansted to Casablanca this year.
The thrice-weekly service will launch in June and will be operated by Royal Air Maroc.

Flights will be flown using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will run every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Journeys take three hours and 20 minutes, with one-way fares from £145 per person.
The new route hopes to cater to both business and leisure travellers, while also providing connections across the rest of its network in Africa.
Royal Air Maroc already operates flights from both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports to Casablanca.
UK holidaymakers flying to Morocco typically head to destinations like Marrakesh and Agadir.
However, most Brits will feel they already know Casablanca thanks to the 1942 film of the same name, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
Even though the film was entirely shot at the Warner Bros lot in California, attractions have opened in the city since the movie was released in the 1940s.
One of those is Rick’s Café where seafood dishes and tagines are served.
As Morocco’s largest city, Casablanca is home to several attraction including the Hassan II Mosque, which is said to be one of the largest in the world.
Other tourist attractions include La Corniche, the city’s coastal promenade that offers scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
There are also beaches near Casablanca like Ain Diab Beach, La Corniche Beach and Tamaris Beach.
London Stansted’s Commercial Director, Ciaran Brannigan, said: “Of all the airports in all the towns in all the world, Royal Air Maroc chose London Stansted for its new direct service to Casablanca, a decision we are truly delighted about.
“This service will provide our passengers with more choice and convenience when traveling to North Africa, whether for business, leisure, or connecting onto the airline’s broader route network.
“Casablanca is an iconic destination, and we are confident this new route will be the beginning of beautiful friendship between Royal Air Maroc and London Stansted.”
Elsewhere in the UK, other airlines have launched new routes to Morocco, including new Jet2 flights from Bournemouth Airport to Agadir, which are due to start next month.
The new route comes after budget carrier Ryanair axed its service between Bournemouth and Agadir.
Meanwhile, Birmingham International Airport is getting Ryanair flights to both Agadir and Marrakesh.
The flights are already on sale with one-way fares from £19.99.
