LOVE Island bosses have revealed they were in secret talks with Tommy Fury for the new All Stars series after his split from Molly-Mae Hague.
Tommy and Molly, both 25, split in August after five years together and now The Sun can reveal he was approached by Love Island bosses ahead of the new series.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, executive producer Mike Spencer confessed the former couple would both be “more than welcome” to return to the show.
Mike said: “I don’t know if we did or didn’t approach Molly, but we pretty much always approach everyone that’s single.”
When pushed to confirm whether or not they reached out to Tommy, he continued: “Probably. Yeah.
“We go through everyone and then approach everyone, audition and then pick.
“But if Molly and Tommy would like to come back here, then they’re more than welcome.”
Molly and Tommy – who share one-year-old daughter Bambi – split amid rumours he cheated on the influencer, something he’s strongly denied.
But last week The Sun’s revealed exclusive snaps showing them sharing a kiss as they saw in the New Year at a party thrown by Man Utd footballer Luke Shaw.
We later told how Molly and Tommy enjoyed a secret cinema date days later before returning to £4million home together.
Tommy was snapped wearing the same top from the night before when seen leaving the house the next day.
A few hours later, Molly-Mae was all smiles as she headed out for the day with daughter Bambi.
And The Sun revealed Molly will address her New Year’s Eve snog with Tommy on her upcoming documentary.
The new show, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, was thought to be dominated by their break-up but will now also air details of their reconciliation.
A TV insider said: “The timing of them getting back together couldn’t be more convenient, as it will see their romance come full circle with fans watching on through the documentary.
“There was already huge interest in the programme, even before the events of the past week. But now there’s likely to be even more people watching.”
