There is also believed to be damage inside the stadium which is due to host their league opener against Bray Wanderers on Friday February 14.

In a statement, the club said: “The club wish to advise that our stadium suffered damage at the hands of Storm Éowyn last Friday morning.

“As a result of this, the ground is currently not safe and we advise people to please refrain from visiting Bishopsgate.

“A further update will be provided when necessary.”
