Kate Moss’ very basic beauty tips – from using cheap makeup brand to veg hack, after being named ‘most beautiful woman’

GLOBAL supermodel Kate Moss has recently been confirmed as the world’s ‘most beautiful woman’ – but despite the star’s luxury taste, she’s got some surprisingly affordable beauty tips.

Kate, 51, was found to be 94.14 per cent accurate to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – a measure of physical perfection.

She topped the charts, where she was joined by the likes of stunners Cindy Crawford and Gisele Bundchen.

And you’d be excused for thinking this is in part thanks to a super expensive and unattainable celeb beauty regime.

But now you can give yourself the beauty boost Kate uses – thanks to her most budget-friendly and basic beauty tips.

1. Kate’s juice cleanse boost

Moss is a mindfulness master, and uses this approach to all aspects of her life, including when thinking about her diet.

In 2022, she told Vogue  her go-to juice cleanse is the “Master Detox”, a week-long cleanse created by London-based nutritional coach and best-selling author Amanda Hamilton.

The cleanse requires you to eat no solid food, and instead consume only juice – supposedly giving your digestive system a breather.

2. Staying out of the sun

Despite being frequently spotted with a dazzling glow, Moss revealed she was once told by Charlotte Tilbury to avoid the UV rays.

“It’s because she’s a redhead, so she knows. I kind of ignored her, but now I’m taking no risks!” Moss told W Magazine.

And it’s no surprise that Tilbury had Moss’ best interests at heart – the queen of the catwalk has been the beauty mogul’s “forever beauty muse” for years, starring in campaigns such as her November 2024 Holiday campaign.

Moss has also been vocal about her love for Tilbury’s products, telling The Standard she uses Beautiful Skin Concealer to even out her skin and Charlotte’s Icon Baby warm nude rose on her lips.

3. No sunbathing

Although Kate admits she doesn’t avoid the sun completely, she says she’s stopped laying out in it for too long while sunbathing.

She said to W magazine: “Before it was like, ‘Lets just get as brown as we can!’ Now, well, I’d look ridiculous anyway.”

4. Always use a good SPF

The supermodel’s go-to SPF is Invisible Fluid by La Roche-Posay, which is well known for its benefits to sensitive skin.

Kate described the product as “lovely and lightweight”, telling The Standard “it works well under make-up”.

5. Kate’s reminder to remove makeup gently

As a frequent in the beauty chair, Kate’s used to having all sorts of products applied and removed from her face.

But she says she’s always extra careful not to be too harsh when taking her own makeup off after being told by an artist at a Saint Laurent shoot.

“The makeup artist was like, ‘Don’t do that to your skin! Don’t pull it like that!’ And I’m like, ‘Really?’” she told W.

6. Tips from daughter Lila Grace

Kate’s close relationship with her daughter Lila has been well documented, with the pair frequently spotted together having fun.

But Kate said her now grown-up daughter “knows more” than her.

Clearly following in her mother’s mindful footsteps, Kate said Lila is “into natural, organic” products.

7. Don’t disregard old-school methods

Although her wildest partying days are behind her, Kate still sometimes wakes up with the same puffy undereyes as the rest of us.

She says the old school methods to banish undereye bags are the best – and insists they really do work.

The catwalk icon said she uses cucumber slices on her face when she’s working an early morning and “still asleep” – and for just 60p, anyone can give Kate’s nifty hack a try.

8. What are her fave products?

Kate’s perfect pout doesn’t come easily – the star says she makes sure she always has a lip balm to hand, to ensure she’s pucker-ready at all times.

As a Kerastase brand ambassador, it will comes as no surprise that Kate is vocal about her love of the brand’s range of hair care products – she even goes so far as to call them her favourite hair products.

In 2013 she was named the new face of the brand, and appeared all over their advertising with her iconic smouldering stare.
