Jessica Alba laughed off a mishap that occurred on the set of her renovation show, Honest Renovations.
Jessica, 43, shared a video on her Instagram page on Tuesday, January 28, while filming the series. In the clip, she was seen crawling out of a window while wearing a red sweater dress with a matching jacket, black tights and black combat boots.
As the Fantastic Four actress was making her way outside through the window, she had a slight bobble, losing her balance for a second after her shoe lost its grip. “Oh s–t,” Jessica said in the clip as people around her watched.
But she was able to recover from the malfunction right away, laughing at what transpired. “Oh my God,” one person could be heard saying in the background. After successfully sliding out the window, Jessica poked her head back in once she was outside. She let out a chuckle and danced around.
It was revealed in August 2024 that Honest Renovations was renewed for a third season with Jessica and Lizzy Mathis as cohosts.
“We are proud to have partnered with Jessica, Lizzy, and the entire production team on Honest Renovations for the past two seasons,” Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Originals, Roku Media, said in a statement, per Deadline. “Our streamers love Jessica and Lizzy’s compassionate, relatable nature, while they transform the homes of these remarkable families. We look forward to spreading the series’ life-changing impact to more families in season three.”
Jessica and Lizzy were equally as excited to continue their home improvement adventures.
“As parents, friends, and business partners, we have loved sharing the stories of these incredible families we have worked with to transform their homes in a hands-on way,” they said in a joint statement. “We are thrilled to continue that work with The Roku Channel for a third season.”
In addition to filming a new season of her show, there’s been quite a few updates in Jessica’s personal life recently. On January 16, the L.A.’s Finest star announced that she split from her husband, Cash Warren, after TMZ reported they were headed for divorce.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals,” she wrote in an Instagram statement.
“We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she concluded. “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
Jessica shares kids Honor, Haven and Hayes with Cash, whom she wed in 2008. An insider told Life & Style that their split was “basically a matter of growing apart.”
“They’re being very honest about their feelings, and why it’s the right time to move on. No one is placing blame; it’s basically a matter of growing apart,” the insider told the outlet. “Jessica and Cash aren’t bitter, they still like each other and plan on staying cordial.”
