The Bridget Jones movies, which span over two decades, see Bridget (Renée Zellweger) at different points in her life, thus raising the question of how old she is in each installment. Unlike most sequels, the Bridget Jones movies don’t necessarily start exactly where the last one ended. The only exception to this is Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, which has her at the same age as in the first film. Instead, the rest feature a time jump that depicts who Bridget is and what is going on at different stages of her life.
