Gaza’s health ministry has reported that hospitals in the region have only one day’s worth of fuel left. If this situation continues, treatment for the injured could come to a complete halt, warned the local administration.
Israel’s Finance Minister has hinted at a new phase of aggression in Gaza. In recent attacks by Tel Aviv, 50 more lives were lost in the region.
The minister also warned that the level of aggression would escalate further. Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s Finance Minister, stated that Gaza would be turned into “hell for Hamas.”
In contrast, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken promised swift implementation of a ceasefire during a recent statement.
However, at a UN session, North Korea’s representative criticized the U.S. for its dual stance on Gaza. Pyongyang claimed that while the U.S. condemns missile tests as acts of self-defense, it supports mass killings in Gaza under the guise of defense.
Adding to the global debate, a video criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has been shared by newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump.
In the video professor from Columbia University blamed Netanyahu for provoking conflicts, including the U.S. military action in Tehran in 2003.
The professor alleged that since the 1990s, Netanyahu has influenced U.S. administrations to act against countries like Iraq, Syria, and Iran, which support groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.
