When calls and texts to your child’s father don’t work, you go straight to their work. Which, in Elon Musk’s case, is the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Grimes took to X to get her billionaire ex’s attention after one of their three children experienced an “urgent” medical situation — which Grimes claimed would cause “long life impairment” for the child if Musk didn’t get involved.
In a now-deleted post on X, the “Genesis” singer shared that Musk was ignoring her calls. “Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis,” Grimes wrote, per Page Six. “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention. If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can do that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.”

Grimes didn’t reveal what exactly the crisis was, adding in another tweet, “I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap, so I need him to f–king respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we are at.”
The exes share kids X Æ A-Xii, 4, Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and Techno Mechanicus, 2. Earlier this month, the SpaceX CEO brought his son X to speak to reporters at one of President Donald Trump’s executive order signings. The toddler spent the event sitting on his dad’s shoulders, picking his nose, and reportedly telling Trump, “You’re not the president and you need to go away.”
When someone told Grimes how nice X acted at the public event on X, she tweeted a response that shows the lack of communication between her and Musk. “He should not be in public like this,” Grimes wrote about her son. “I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
Grimes isn’t the only one having a hard time getting in touch with Musk. Earlier this month, conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair claimed she welcomed a baby with Musk that he has so far not acknowledged. (This would be his 13th child.)
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that the tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” St. Clair wrote on X. “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
The Tesla CEO didn’t comment on St. Clair’s post, but he did write “Woah” over a screenshot that allegedly had Clair plotting to “ensnare” him. St. Clair responded to this one-word comment, writing, “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?”
Hopefully Musk steps up and gets both of these situations resolved, especially if the health and safety of his kids are on the line!
