GAA Division 2 League table: Fixtures, throw-in times, TV channel info & teams for Gaelic football’s second tier


DIVISION 2 of the Gaelic football League looks sure to live up to its reputation for being the toughest of the four to predict.

Last year’s decider proved to be a preview of the Ulster Championship final as Donegal pipped Armagh.

There will of course be extra intrigue across all four divisions this year on foot of 2025’s new rules.

They were drawn up by the GAA’s Football Review Committee which was headed by five-a-row All-Ireland winning manager Jim Gavin.

Here’s everything you need to know about the layout of the 2025 Division Two fixture list:

Round 1:

  • Cork vs Meath – Saturday, January 25 from 5pm at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork
  • Cavan vs Monaghan – Saturday, January 25 from 6pm at Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan
  • Roscommon vs Down – Sunday, January 26 from 2pm at Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon
  • Westmeath vs Louth – Sunday, January 26 from 2pm at Cusack Park, Mullingar

Round 2:

  • Down vs Cork – Sunday February 2 from 1pm at Pairc Esler, Newry
  • Louth vs Roscommon – Sunday February 2 from 2pm at Pairc Mhuire, Ardee
  • Meath vs Cavan – Sunday February 2 from 2pm at Pairc Tailteann, Navan
  • Monaghan vs Westmeath – Sunday February 2 from 2pm at St Tiernach’s Park, Clones

Round 3:

  • Cork vs Westmeath – Saturday February 15 from 5pm at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork
  • Down vs Meath – Saturday February 15 from 6pm at Pairc Esler, Newry
  • Roscommon vs Monaghan – Sunday February 16 from 2pm at Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon
