A MAN who died in a horror smash after a BMW crashed into houses has been named by cops.
Jamie Green, 25, died following the fatal crash on the B842 road at Knocknaha near Stewarton, by Campbeltown on Monday afternoon.

The alarm was raised at around 4pm after the red BMW struck two adjoining houses in the Argyll and Bute town.
Tragically Mr Green was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Green’s shattered family issued the following statement through Police Scotland.
It read: “Jamie was our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend who was taken from us so tragically. Our hearts are truly broken.
“Jamie had the kindest heart and lived his short life to the fullest.
“He will be missed by so many.
“We have been overwhelmed by the support shown and the many kind words that have been shared by those who knew Jamie.”
A 23-year-old man, the driver of the car, was rushed to hospital for treatment.
No one in the houses was injured.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances of the crash is still ongoing.
Police are now asking anyone with information or access to dashcam footage to come forward.
Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Green at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1982 of 6 January, 2025.”
