Things took a turn for the worse when her former partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) popped up – but ended up getting crashed by a falling bath.

Trying to take her mind off things, Lauren and Bianca started asking her about baby names and if she had thought of any.

She replied: “I don’t know, I can’t decide can I? Julia maybe? Or Tony with an i?”

Lauren told her: “They are lovely names,” as Sonia screeched back: “Are they?”

The legendary soap was created by Julia Smith and Tony Holland and began on February 19 1985.

The BBC later revealed that they would be letting the public pick the name – in the second decision for tomorrow’s live episode.

Fans who voted in the first poll – which will decide if Diane Parish’s character, Denise Fox, reunites with her estranged husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) or her secret lover Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), were given a second choice.

A message read: “As a thank you for taking the time to vote, EastEnders would like you to make one more BIG decision… Click the link below for ANOTHER VOTE

“To honour the creators of EastEnders, Julia Smith and Tony Holland, what should Sonia name her baby?”

Both votes will close at 7.10pm and the results will be revealed in the live episode.
