By the end of Dexter: Original Sin season 1, Maria LaGuerta went from an unwanted addition to Miami Metro’s homicide division to a budding protégé of Harry Morgan (Christian Slater). They worked the NHI Killer case together, shared some of their biggest regrets in life, and even established the beginnings of a friendship.
