CORONATION Street star Simon Gregson has shared a health update after he was forced to deny splitting from his wife.
Simon and his wife Emma were hit with speculation they had broken up after Emma was listed as his ‘estranged’ wife in business documents.

But a source close to the 50-year-old actor has now confirmed the pair are definitely still going strong.
The actor, who plays ladies’ man Steve McDonald in the soap, has now posted a video to his 150,000 followers to update them on what’s going on with his health.
He said: “This is the as promised progress report, it’s going on for two weeks now.
“So with the CBD stuff and gummies and oil, I feel good. There’s an ease after stress that can build up.
“Three kids, three dogs and a cat, it’s a job and this gives me that nice calm and I’m sleeping a lot better before I go to bed.”
He continued: “It’s working, and I am feeling the benefits and I am pleased.”
A week or so ago, Simon said he’d been trying CBD to help with his anxiety, which is something he’s spoken about a great deal in the past.
Away from the Coronation Street set as years went on, Simon started suffering panic attacks and anxiety as he struggled to handle his fame.
Simon explained: “We were kind of dropped in the middle of the ocean at fifteen and left to swim to shore. It had a massive impact on my mental health, looking back.
“It makes me very upset, for the only reason that I’ve got kids the same age now, and the thought of them going through what I went through is horrible. It’s not nice.”
Simon attempted therapy for the first time with the help of his father, who as a member of the police force, has an allowance for family members to get help for their mental health.
However, he adds that they “didn’t know what to do with him” and he quickly gave up.
He later explained he started self-medicating by ‘getting really really drunk’ which he says was ‘great’ and ‘not a problem’ – although acknowledged others around him may not have felt the same.
Simon added he only started curbing his drinking when he met his wife and she laid down the law, admitting he would rather have been with her than drinking.
But his anxiety remained, and in 2015 he was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, with the doctor saying it may have started around the time he started Corrie.
Meanwhile, Simon and his wife are still very much together according to a source.
They said: “Simon and Emma have not split and are still very much together.
“Simon has no idea why Emma is listed as his ‘estranged wife’ in financial paperwork.”
It followed reports that Simon is facing having to sell his family home if he doesn’t pay back a £250,000 loan from his production company.
Simon has often praised wife Emma, who runs a tea rooms in Cheshire, for her support of his career on TV.
Last year, the couple revealed that they were set up by one of his soap star colleagues.
“We met 18 years ago in the pub in Eccles owned at the time by Beverley Callard,” Simon revealed, with Emma adding: “I used to go to Bev’s pub with my brother Michael and she was running a singing competition called Eccles Factor. Simon was one of the judges and Bev asked me if I liked Simon, ‘as he’s single and he likes you’.”
Simon asked Emma out on a date when they ran into each other at a charity event weeks later, and they’ve been together ever since.
