With each Civilization game, Firaxis aims to shake the entire concept up considerably. While the core of it is always centered on letting players make their own mark on history, much of the gameplay is overhauled to create an entirely new experience. With Sid Meier’s Civilization 7, that continues to be the case as the studio has delivered something drastically different from what has come before. Even though many of those changes are great to see, there are some features from Civilization 6 that did not deserve to be left on the cutting room floor.
