Inside Vogue Williams’ stunning London mansion as she sells it for £4.7m – but fans are distracted by ‘annoying detail’

VOGUE Williams and Spencer Matthews are selling up her luxurious London pad for £4.7million.

The married couple are trading Chelsea for a quieter life in Vogue’s native Ireland, but are struggling to flog the mansion in the heart of London.

Fans couldn’t help but comment on the wonky frames on the wall in the kitchen[/caption]

Initially putting it up for sale for £5.25million a year ago, the four bedroom property is still yet to sell despite the stunning amenities.

The intricately decorated house includes two huge reception rooms, a private roof garden/terrace, a bar, home gym and in-house cinema/media room.

The primary bedroom comes with an en-suite, with two more bathrooms throughout the house.

Putting the property onto RightMove, fans can get a look into the property, which is the perfect blend of clean white decor but pops of colour in the furnishings and wall art.

But as TikTokers started posting the property, fans couldnt help but notice one “annoying” detail they couldn’t quite get over.

In the open plan kitchen, which leads straight out onto the terrace, a string of Vogue Magazine posters hang over the kitchen tops – though fans couldn’t help but notice they were all slightly wonky.

TikToker HousingHorrors – which usually details the bizarre and pricey housing listings up for sale – broke with his usual hunt to detail Vogue’s house, joking that “rich people own air fryers” and complimenting the interior design of the house.

He also shared pictures of the family’s massive walk-in wardrobe, and the kids bedrooms.

Irish star Vogue and British-born Spencer have always had homes in both Ireland and London, with a third property in Jersey.

However they decided to sell this home last year in order to invest in a bigger Irish home for their three children – Theodore, Gigi and Otto – to grow up in.

The couple, who have been married since 2018, spoke about life in the Matthews’ household on their podcast, but Spencer quit the show at the beginning of this year in order to focus on other business interests and his newfound love of endurance challenges.

Last year, Spencer completed a massive feat of taking on 30 desert marathons in 30 days.

He told us how extreme exercise has saved his marriage and his life, with him also completely cutting out alcohol after it left him ‘unrecognisable’.

Amber Wilson, Vogue’s sister, is taking over for Spencer, and the show will now be renamed Vogue and Amber.

Earthquake strikes Lisbon during Champions League press conference and leaves whole room shaking

LISBON was struck by a 4.7 magnitude earthquake just moments before a Benfica press conference took place on Monday.

Head coach Bruno Lage was about to address the media in preparation for his team’s Champions League play-off second leg against Monaco when the earthquake hit.

Before he took to his chair, the whole room started to shake.

The moment was caught on camera by CNN Portugal just moments prior to the start of the conference.

Once the commotion had subsided, Lage spoke to the media as planned.

Discussing his experience of the earthquake, he said: “If I tell you what I said to my assistant Lemos…

“We were climbing the stairs when we heard a noise. I mentioned that we needed to fix the glass door in front of us.

“It was only after I got here that I realised what had actually happened.”

Benfica go into Wednesday’s match against Monaco with a 1-0 advantage.

Vangelis Pavlidis scored the decisive goal in the first leg at Stade Louis II last week.

Should they beat Monaco on aggregate, Benfica will face either Liverpool or Barcelona in the last-16 of the Champions League.

The earthquake struck Portugal at around 1:24pm local time on Monday afternoon.

Its epicentre was recorded around 14 kilometres from Seixal, in the district of Setúbal, and was felt in several places in Greater Lisbon.

The shockwaves were felt at maximum intensity in the municipalities of Almada and Sesimbra.

One of the staples they have dropped is the perfect pair of jeans, coming in a range of different styles.

From tight-fitting skinny jeans to trendy barrel denims, there is something for everyone.

Joanna Cluskey shared a short video to Instagram under the username @stylebyjo.ie

In the caption of the post, she wrote: “The perfect pair of cream jeans for spring/summer.

In the video, she can be seen wearing a stunning light coloured outfit that is perfect for spring.

She said: “Spring and summer are on the horizon, and I’m going to focus on jeans again today.”

“Check out these beautiful cream barrel leg jeans by Savida at Dunnes.”

Joanna is wearing the Savida Barrel Jeans, which sell for just €30.

The jeans come in sizes 6 to 18, though shoppers have been quick to snap them up as the only sizes left in stock online are 8, 12 and 16.

But shoppers may still be able to find their sizes in their local store.

In the official item description on the Dunnes Stores website, fashion bosses wrote: “These cotton wide-leg jeans are cut for a modern, relaxed silhouette with a flattering high waist.

“Detailed with five-pocket styling and tonal stitching, they’re a versatile staple for everyday dressing. Savida is available exclusively at Dunnes Stores.”

Joanna continued: “They have a beautiful, really cool barrel leg – the length is lovely, I’m 5″8 and a half for reference, and it’s a really on trend style at the moment.”

Speaking about the comfort, she said: “They’re lovely soft material.”

She picked up a size 8, noting that the sizing is “perfect”.

Joanna added: “I love the pockets at the back; they’re really comfortable to wear, and they’re gorgeous. I love cream jeans when spring and summer arrive.”

She paired it with a gorgeous grey cardigan also stocked in Dunnes Stores.

The Savida Boucle Cardigan costs just €30 and is available in sizes XXS to XXL.

The grey cardigan features large silver buttons up the centre.

In the official item description on the website, fashion chiefs said: “Sumptuously soft, this cropped cardigan from Savida is crafted from a soft and cosy boucle fabric.

“Featuring classic ribbed trims and intricately designed buttons, it can be worn with a skirt and boots or with your favourite denim.”

She added that it is “so easy to style; I love the fit. You can pair it with a longer top, or, as I did, with a cropped cardi.

“Really good length down to the ankle – for €30, I love them.”

THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 - and it was an instant hit.

Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.

During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.

Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.

The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.

“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.

“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”

The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.

They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.

“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”

Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.

World’s tallest, fastest and longest rollercoaster to open this year with speeds of 155mph

A THRILL seekers dream rollercoaster is set to open this year.

In Saudi Arabia, Six Flags theme park is set to open this year and with it, the tallest, fastest and longest rollercoaster in the world.

There will also be a water park and race track in Qiddiya City[/caption]

The Six Flags theme park – which has been under construction since 2019 – will form part of Qiddiya City, a 376 square kilometre entertainment and sports hub in Saudi Arabia.

One of the big attractions set to bring in rollercoaster fans is the Six Flags Theme Park which will have 28 rides in total.

The main and most talked about is the terrifying Falcon’s Flight rollercoaster – which once opened will be the tallest, fastest and longest of its kind.

The ride will be over thirteen thousand feet long, at its peak height it will stand at 639 feet tall.

As for the thrills, the top speed of Falcon’s Flight will be 155.3 mph, and the tallest drop will be from 519 feet over the side of a hill.

Fourteen riders can experience Falcon’s Flight at a time and thanks to its speed and the desert environment, the trains will have curved windshields to protect riders from sand.

There have been mixed views from rollercoaster enthusiasts with some saying they “need to ride” it, with others branding it “ridiculous”.

Currently, the fastest rollercoaster in the world is the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi that reached speeds of 149.1 mph.

The tallest rollercoaster, since the closure of Kingda Ka that stood at 456 feet, is the Superman: Escape from Krypton at Six Flags Magic Mountain standing at 415 feet.

Six Flags is set to open in ‘late 2025’ with an exact date still to be confirmed.

The Six Flags theme park will be set across 79 acres[/caption]

The record-breaking rollercoaster isn’t the only unique attraction Qiddiya City will be opening – they are also set to reveal the most unique racing circuit.

Speed Park is set to open in 2027, and the plan is that the track will eventually host the country’s Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The daring track has been designed by racing drivers and has the very first elevated track corner which is 70-metres high – the equivalent of a 20-storey building.

It won’t be just the professionals that get to whizz around the track, they will regularly host open days so that motorsport enthusiasts can have a go.

The Aquarabia water park will also be part of the complex – and will be the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia.

There will be eight themed zones inspired by the wildlife found in Saudi, for example Camel Rock and Viper Canyon.

Inside the water park will be 22 rides, a surf pool, water coaster and slides.

Aquarabia will become home to the world’s tallest water coaster in the land of Junoon Drop. It will have a 138 foot drop and include a twisty flume with an 180-degree turn.

You can also do water sport activities, kayaking, rafting, canyoneering and cliff jumping.

There’s another theme park set to open in the Middle East called The Land of Legends which is set to open in 2028.

This incredible floating theme park called ‘The Rig’ is being built on an old oil rig in Saudi Arabia.

Europe's Fastest Rollercoaster is in Barcelona

The Red Force rollercoaster has speeds of over 100 mph...

The Red Force rollercoaster at the Ferrari Land amusement park near Barcelona used to be number four on the list but has quietly risen through the ranks to secure the top spot.

It’s now one of the world’s tallest and fastest rollercoasters and has a whopping top speed of 112mph.

The ruby-red ride is shaped like a top hat and stands at 112 metres tall. Each train, carrying 12 people in six rows of two, immediately accelerates from 0 to 112mph after leaving the station.

Red Force can accommodate as many as 1,200 passengers per hour.

Children don’t get enough outdoor play, quality family time or nutritional snacks, according to their OWN parents

Billie and Greg Shepherd with their son Arthur promoting GoGo squeeZ fruit snacks.
Will Ireland/PinPep

CHILDREN aren’t getting enough play time outdoors, quality family time, and healthy snacks, according to their parents.

Apparently, kids aged three to 10 are missing out on a few crucial things, with time in nature being the main component.

Billie and Greg Shepherd prepare a healthy lunch with their son, Arthur, using GoGo squeeZ fruit snacks.
Will Ireland/PinPep

According to a new poll which surveyed 1000 parents, 29% said their children need more time in nature, 25% said more fruit and veg is needed, 27% said more focus is needed on chores and 18% said one-to-one attention was key.

As many as seven in 10 claim they struggle to make sure their child is getting the right amount of everything they need on a weekly basis – due to busy schedules and children’s fussiness.

The study, carried out by kids’ fruit smoothie brand, GoGo squeeZ, also found that despite the lack of these things, 59% say quality time is a key ingredient for a fulfilled child.

This is followed by good nutrition (51%), laughter and fun (42%), and spending time outdoors (25%).

On a mission to help support parents and kids, the brand has released its new ‘squeeZ the Day’ report, which focuses on three key pillars – Good Nutrition, Quality Time, and Outdoor Adventures – highlighting the essential ingredients for nurturing children’s physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.

A spokesperson for the food company, which counts as one of your five a day, said: “We believe that nourishing kids with the right foods is key to helping them thrive.

“Finding snacks they love – and that are good for them – is a small victory, but it’s an important step in supporting their growth and development.

“By partnering with an insightful group of industry experts, we’ve created this report to offer practical advice and insights that make it easier for families to embrace healthy habits; supporting children as they grow up well and develop a strong sense of identity and confidence.”

The study went on to find parents spend an average of eight mealtimes a week with their children, and around 10 hours each week of ‘quality time’.

TOP 20 THINGS PARENTS DON’T THINK KIDS GET ENOUGH OF

  1. Time in nature
  2. Outdoor play
  3. Chores and responsibility
  4. Fruit and veg
  5. Community involvement
  6. Physical activity
  7. Nutritional snacks
  8. One-on-one attention
  9. Reading time
  10. Quality family time
  11. Sleep
  12. Hands-on experiences
  13. Creative expression
  14. Unstructured free time
  15. Relaxation and downtime
  16. Learning through play
  17. Personal space
  18. Home cooked meals
  19. Role models
  20. Laughter and fun

Despite this, the average 3-to-10-year-old spends just four hours each week playing outdoors – excluding PE lessons- with 31% of parents citing a preference for TV and video games (31%) as the reason for this.

More than four in 10 (44%) feel they give in to their child too much, with screen time, extending bedtime, and treats when out cited as the top things they are most lenient with.

It also emerged 31% often let their little one consume sugary snacks or drinks.

With 35% regularly feeling ‘parent guilt’ when it comes to making sure their son or daughter is getting the right amount of everything they need.

Working alongside GoGo squeeZ to help bring the report to life, mum of three, Billie Shepherd, said: “As a parent, it’s always a challenge to juggle everything—work, family time, and making sure my kids are eating enough fruit and veg.

“With everything going on, it’s easy to feel like I’m not doing enough – but it’s not about being perfect, it’s about making small, realistic changes that can really make a difference.

“With my husband Greg and I both working, the advice from this report has helped us find balance and feel more confident in the choices we’re making for our children’s health and happiness.”

It further emerged 22% of parents would like to reduce their child’s intake of unhealthy snacks and drinks, while 36 per cent want to see their child eat more fruit and vegetables.

In fact, seeing their offspring eat something good for them is one of life’s little wins for 91% of parents, according to the OnePoll.com data.

But when it comes to choice of kid’s nutritional snacks, 33% believe there isn’t currently enough on offer when out and about, as 57% say they find it difficult to source any.

Doctor Zoe Williams said: “Nutritious snacks are vital for children’s energy levels, focus, and overall well-being.

“Choosing snacks that are rich in vitamins, minerals, and natural ingredients can help fuel their bodies and minds throughout the day.

“It’s all about making better choices whilst recognising the demand for convenience as our lives are busier than ever.”

As well as Dr Zoe Williams, also feeding into the report is child nutritionist Lucy Upton, and child psychologist Professor Sam Wass, from The Secret Life of 4-& 5-Year Olds.

Irishman, 36, arrested in Spain for trying to smuggle 18kgs of cannabis worth €200k on Ryanair flight to Liverpool

AN IRISHMAN has been arrested after trying to fly from the Costa Blanca to the UK with around €200,000 of cannabis.

The 36-year-old was held after the suitcase he had checked in for his flight from Alicante airport to Liverpool was found to contain 18 kilos of the drug.

Airport security staff alerted police that the suitcase could contain banned narcotics after passing it through an x-ray scanner.

The unnamed Irish national was held at a boarding gate after police started working on identifying and locating its owner.

He was about to board a Ryanair flight when he was pulled out of the queue and asked to open his suitcase in front of officers.

The suspect was formally arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling and drug trafficking after the vacuum-sealed bags, clumsily hidden inside among clothes, were confirmed to contain cannabis.

The Irishman was released on bail pending an ongoing criminal investigation following a first court appearance before a judge based in Elche south of Alicante.

The judge could have opted to remand him in custody but decided to grant him conditional bail instead.

The conditions are understood to include a travel ban and the obligation to sign on at court every fortnight.

It was not immediately clear today if he was travelling alone or with other people.

The man under continuing investigation declined to answer the judge’s questions and the final intended destination of the drugs found in his suitcase is not known either at this stage.

In February last year, Spanish police arrested an Irishman they accused at the time of being a “dedicated drug trafficker”.

The 36-year-old was held in the Alicante town of Rojales, in Alicante province’s Vega Baja region.

Detectives said he was part of a British-led gang that had been sending massive quantities of cannabis – amounting to hundreds of thousands of euros – to Ireland.

PREVIOUS OPERATION

In June 2023, police went public with the operation to snare three Brits and a Romanian woman as they said they had smashed a gang after intercepting parcels that had been sent from the Costa Blanca and were on their way to Ireland by post.

They had launched a manhunt for the suspected ringleader of the gang – one of the men arrested – earlier in the year after he fled officers who went to tick him off for using his mobile phone in a petrol station.

The alleged drug trafficker mistakenly thought he was about to be arrested for the serious offences he ended up being held over.

It later emerged patrol cops only intended telling him not to use his phone at the filling station near Madrid.

The Brit abandoned his vehicle with 54 kilos of marijuana buds inside and vanished after fleeing on foot and jumping over several fences restricting easy access to high-speed train lines.

He was subsequently tracked down and arrested at a hideaway on the Costa Blanca two months later.

I saved £1,125 by swapping Center Parcs holidays in the UK for Europe even with flights included

A CENTER Parcs holiday is a bucket list break for most British families, thanks to its secluded lodges, wide-ranging activities, onsite restaurants and subtropical waterparks.

While it’s the ideal spot for a half-term break, the price of a family holiday can triple in the school holidays leaving some Brits priced out.

However, there is another way to experience the popular family resort without paying inflated prices or being fined for removing children from school during term-time.

A seven-night stay during the February half term at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest in Cumbria cost a staggering £2,578 for a basic lodge for my family of four.

The same trip at Center Parcs Les Villages Nature near Paris costs £1,237, working out at £1,341 cheaper.

A European trip to Center Parcs is still cheaper even when the cost of flights is factored into the equation.

For example, direct flights from Edinburgh (where I live) to Paris came in at £216 for my family of four.

It means by choosing Center Parcs Les Villages Nature, we would save £1,125.

My family visited Les Villages Nature last year, and it has all the trappings of a traditional Center Parcs break, including the much-loved subtropical water park, countless activities, soft play and play parks.

This resort is also one of the newer parks and we found it bigger and better than its UK counterpart.

Compared to Whinfell Forest, there were more water slides and activities, such as the poolside climbing wall.

And on our last trip, our booking came with a couple of free activity passes, which our daughter used on a pony ride and a chocolate-making class – both of which would have cost an extra €20 (£16.63) each.

We found the food options to be much better in Paris too.

There is something quite magical about going for a morning walk and grabbing some fresh bread and pastries in France.

As well as the amazing bakeries, there was also a pizzeria and grocery store that had lots of fresh cheese and hot food selections.

Everything was just fresher and tastier and all quite affordable.

Center Parcs escapes are known for their seclusion, with most holidaymakers at UK resorts opting to stay within the resort for their whole stay.

We felt Les Villages Nature gave families more options.

For instance, on our week-long trip, we visited Disneyland Paris, which was a short 20-minute drive away, and Park Asterix – around 40 minutes away.

With 26 Center Parcs locations in Europe, you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to go, and most of them will offer more affordable trips than the UK versions.

Some of the other bargain breaks we found during half term were Center Parcs Park Nordseeküste in Butjadingen, Germany, which cost only £515 for the same week in February.

There’s also Center Parcs Port Zélande in Ouddorp in the Netherlands which only costs £779.

Of course families do have to factor in the cost of travelling to Europe.

But even when flights are factored in, breaks were still cheaper, so it seems like a no-brainer to jump on a plane.

Mum reveals how to do a cheaper Center Parcs trip in Europe

Mum Catherine Lofthouse visited a Netherlands Center Parcs to save money.

We paid just £680 for a week’s stay, for five of us in a lodge.

We booked in the summer for an Easter break with our lodge five minutes from both the beach and the pool and two minutes from the soft play.

The extra activities seemed cheaper than you would pay in the UK.

We even opted for a couple of free activities, including a beach litter pick, which was a fun way to spend an hour looking after the environment, and toasting marshmallows over a fire pit.

Another trick to make your holiday money go further is to keep an eye on the Too Good To Go app, which offers reduced price food that’s coming to the end of its sell-by date.

The Center Parcs supermarket was offering a bag of food most days for just €4.99 (£4) with a BBQ meat pack, veggie mince, squash, biscuits and snacks.

And here are the UK holiday parks ‘like Center Parcs without the crowds’.

Travel writer Catherine Lofthouse has tried several Center Parcs-alternative holiday parks in the UK, here’s what she thought.
