A MAN was left shocked at the passive aggressive note his neighbour left for him on his van, despite it being parked in a legal spot.
The angry driver posted a photo of the handwritten letter online – and shared how it was the third neighbour who had complained about his vehicle.
TikTok user @seannd17 wrote: “New year, same issues.
“This is the third neighbour who has complained about my completely legally parked van.
“I get it, it may not look the prettiest outside your house, but I just park where I can, I am not intending to upset people.”
He then posted a photo of the note which he found on his front window screen.
It read: “Please may you move the van outside our house.
“We have really struggled over Christmas, we have a large amount of guests over Saturday night and really need the space.”
The man’s post has clearly struck a chord with internet users, as it has racked up over 1,000 comments.
Many people took the side of the neighbour and said he should consider a different spot.
One wrote: “Could you not park it outside your own place?”
Another added: “that really isn’t an unreasonable request.”
However, the man replied: “It’s the 3rd neighbour to tell me to move it, so where else can I go?
“Always try to park outside mine but it’s not always possible.”
Other people said he was completely in the right if it is a legal spot.
One wrote: “Start leaving notes on cars that park outside the front of your house asking them to move.”

A second commented: “Public road, tax mot and insured. Leave it there.”
A third said: “If it’s on the street absolutely nothing they can do and you are full entitled to park there.”
According to Law Hive: “If the space in front of your house is on private property, such as a driveway, you can enforce parking restrictions.

“This means that, generally, anyone can park there as long as they follow local parking regulations and restrictions.”
They said that if a vehicle is blocking your driveway by parking across a dropped curb, this is illegal and can be reported.
They advised that neighbours speak politely – as the note writer did – to people legally parked if they cause an inconvenience.
They added: “However, it’s important to note that any request not to park in front of your house on a public road is a courtesy and not a legal requirement.”

NINTENDO announced the Switch 2 last year and told fans that they’d get their first look at the upcoming console before the end of the financial year.
That means we should see the first announcement trailer before the end of March 2025, but people think it will be coming sooner rather than later.

GenkiIt’s unclear which parts in the trailer are supposed to be Genki accessories and what’s meant to be the Switch 2[/caption]
This is because the number of leaks and rumours have been ramping up, and some of them are more reliable than others.
An image of the supposed Switch 2 motherboard has been circulating the internet but the origins of the images are unknown.
However, it does feature an Nvidia chip, which lines up with what we already know about the upcoming console and Nintendo’s partnerships.
The PCB also features a USB-C port on the top and bottom of the console, which would allow players to charge and dock the console both ways.
This also lines up with supposed images of the Switch 2 shell that circulated previously.
The other interesting images that have been seen online are the supposed new Joy-Con that first showed up on Chinese social media.
These Joy-Con images also line up with previous rumours, such as that they will attach to the console using magnets rather than rails.
This means that the Joy-Con could be able to attack to the side of the console rather than sliding them up and down.
While they are supposedly the same thickness as the Nintendo Switch 1 Joy-Con, the images show a black outer shell and the classic blue and red only behind the sticks and where they attach to the console.
The alleged Joy-Con also feature an optical sensor, which fans believe could be used to use the controller like a computer mouse.
Nintendo is known for its innovation in hardware, and it seems likely that the upcoming console would feature new and innovative ideas like this, particularly as a console successor.
Accessory manufacturer Genki has also revealed a trailer for its upcoming line of Switch 2 accessories.
While it is unclear what is supposed to be an accessory and what will be the actual console, the trailer shows off a handheld that looks similar to the Switch with a larger screen.
It also demonstrates the controllers attaching to the sides of the console, and the dual USB-C ports.
The dock also features the supposed Switch 2 logo which features two Joy-Con with a number ‘2’ next to them.
This logo is the same one that has appeared from other sources, adding to its credibility.
Retailer GameStop has reportedly also begun listing Switch 2 accessories in its database, including a fast memory option in the Express MicroSD card.
Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed the leaks, but if they are to be believed, then the Switch 2 announcement could be coming very soon.
