‘Giovanni is getting a whole family for Christmas’: Sisters put out a social media plea to find their long lost little brother
Who is Marcel Somerville’s wife Rebecca Vieira and are the pair still married?
MARCEL Somerville, aka Dr Marcel is back on the hunt for love in ITV2’s Love Island All Stars.
But it seems his ex, Rebecca Vieira, has thrown a bit of shade his way since he decided to join the show. Here’s what we know about her.
Who is Marcel Somerville’s wife Rebecca Vieira?
Rebecca Vieira’s relationship with reality TV star Marcel Somerville has definitely kept fans and the media buzzing.
The pair share a son, Roman, and have faced their fair share of ups and downs in the public eye.
From infidelity rumours to Marcel’s recent return to the spotlight on Love Island All Stars, the couple have been dealt a few blows.
Born on August 16, 1995, in Portugal, Rebecca has carved out her own path as a social media star.
She’s especially popular on Instagram, where she shares lifestyle, fashion, family, and travel content.
Plus, her YouTube channel, Life With MR, gives fans an inside look at her life through vlogs about family adventures, daily moments, and behind-the-scenes snippets.
Rebecca and Marcel tied the knot in August 2022, a little over a year after welcoming their son in January 2021.
While she tends to keep her personal life relatively private, recent events surrounding Marcel’s reality TV comeback have put her in the spotlight once again.
Are Marcel and Rebecca still together?
Fans were surprised to hear that the 39-year-old is heading back to Love Island, especially since he’s still legally married to Rebecca.
That said, the two are in the process of divorcing.
Chatting exclusively to The Sun, Love Island executive producer Mike Spencer urged fans to “give the guy a break” and insisted Marcel is a single man.
When questioned about Marcel’s marital status, Mike replied: “He had a wife! Marcel is single. He’s ready to mingle.
“Give the guy a break. He’s had a tough time.”
The Sun also asked Mike if Rebecca will be entering the villa to confront her estranged husband, but he replied: “No, she’s not.”
The exact timing of their split is still a bit of a mystery.
Back in March 2024, Rebecca made headlines when she publicly apologised for what she called a “huge mistake” and admitted to “foolish” actions after cheating allegations surfaced.
I’ve made a huge mistake, I’ve embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families.

She shared a heartfelt apology on Instagram, addressing the situation head-on.
At that point, Rebecca and the former Blazin’ Squad star had been married for just over a year.
However, it was reported she sent flirty texts to US rapper Slim Jxmmi behind his back.
She wrote: “By now most of you would have seen what’s going on.
“I’ve made a huge mistake, I’ve embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families.
“My actions were foolish and have hurt so many people around us but most importantly my husband.
“I want to publicly apologise to my Marcel, just as loudly as the rest of the noise.
“I love you beyond measure, with no doubts, with no question, you are my beginning and my end my forever love. I love you.”
Rebecca was seen posing in a bikini following the announcement that Marcel was back on the show[/caption]By June 2024, it looked like Marcel and Rebecca were trying to patch things up.
When asked about where things stood in their relationship, Marcel told the MailOnline: “I’ve gone through a little bit of a crazy time in my life.
“I’ll talk more about it at a later time, as I’m not really ready to talk about what’s going on right now.
“We’re working through the situation to get the best outcome that we can.”
When asked if he’d ever consider joining Love Island: All Stars in the future, Marcel made it clear that he and Rebecca were still together at the time.
He added: “I’m married, so doing it isn’t in my view right now, and it wouldn’t have been at the time.”
In early January 2025, speculation about Marcel joining Love Island All Stars alongside his ex, Gabby Allen, stirred up more about their complicated history.
However, Rebecca seemed unbothered, treating her 636,000+ Instagram followers to a stunning bikini snap.
Rocking a patterned brown bikini top, a matching hat, and ripped denim shorts, the brunette beauty posed, gazing down at the floor.
Rebecca also shared a quote over a field of flowers, which read: “What makes you beautiful is that you stayed soft in a life that tried to harden you.”
I was on Naked Attraction – I couldn’t believe how long you actually have to be nude for
A NAKED Attraction star has lifted the lid on what it’s really like to appear on the hit Channel 4 show – and revealed just how long contestants are expected to be in the nude.
The daring dating series, hosted by Anna Richardson, has been shocking audiences since 2016 with its risqué concept.
Stars on Naked Attraction have to stand around in the nude for longer than viewers might think[/caption]Singletons strip down completely as a potential date judges them on their body, bit by bit, before the pair head off to see if sparks fly.
But behind the scenes, the experience is far more intense than it appears on screen.
A former contestant named Gavin recently spoke about his time on the show, revealing that the process is a lot more grueling than viewers might think.
Gavin explained: “It’s a long day. They do some hair and make up and then you get to meet the people you’re up against.
“You’ve got about two hours of standing in a box until it all starts.
“It ended up being from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon to film half an hour of television.”
He added: “They come round and take loads of pictures for the mash-ups. It was quite a lengthy process, but enjoyable.”
Contestants in the lineup reportedly have to remain nude for the majority of the 12-hour filming process
While this might seem daunting for many, Gavin seemed to enjoy the unique experience of featuring on the show.
Thankfully for the clothed contestant choosing their date, the experience is slightly less intense.
Reports suggest that they only need to be nude for about 15 minutes of the day, making their role seem comparatively easier.
Host Anna Richardson has previously shared some hilarious moments from her time on Naked Attraction.
On the Andy Jaye Podcast, she recalled an incident where a male contestant got a little too excited during filming.
She shared: “We did have a couple of seasons ago, there was a young man who I think might have been in the pink pod. He was getting a little bit excited about what was about to happen.
“So our lovely floor manager, Dave the floor manager, had to go ‘come on’ and just had to escort him off the floor for a little while, just to calm down. And then he was brought back onto set.
“It always happens. Boys being boys, you can’t control your anatomy, can you? So, there’s been a little bit of excitement.”
Watch the hilarious moment The Traitors fans think ‘pantomime villain’ Linda let one slip during Claudia Winkleman chat
THEY were in the middle of an intense chat, where they were deciding whether or not to recruit another Traitor.
But TV viewers were left giggling after Wednesday night’s episode of beloved BBC show The Traitors – after catching the moment they reckon contestant Linda accidentally let one slip.
The Traitors fans claim to have heard Linda accidentally fart during Wednesday night’s episode[/caption] It happened as host Claudia Winkleman had an intense chat with Traitors Linda and Minah in the turret[/caption] When she told the pair that they had the option to recruit another Faithful to become a Traitor[/caption]After joining Linda and fellow Traitor Minah in the turret, Claudia shared a joke with the “surviving and thriving” pair, before getting down to business.
“Now Traitors…” she began.
“I have some rather exciting news”.
As the camera panned back, a noise that sounded suspiciously like a fart appeared to come from underneath retired opera singer Linda’s hooded cloak.
“Did Linda just (fart)?” one person asked in a video on TikTok.
To which hundreds of people responded admitting they’d heard the noise as well.
“Oh my god, I thought it was my dad and I just didn’t say anything!” one laughed.
“Yeeees I was like, what, did I just hear that?” another added.
“I thought i was the only one who noticed!” a third admitted.
“I HEARD THIS TOO,” someone else said.
“Struggling to hold that one in,” another laughed.
But others said they’d thought the noise had come from somewhere else.
“I thought she said ‘do you?’ just very quietly, you can see her mouth move,” one wrote.
“I thought that was her saying ‘ooh’, you can see her mouth move at the same time,” another added.
“I think they would have edited that out,” a third laughed.
Linda is emerging as a firm favourite on this year’s series, although people are wondering just how much longer she will last before the Faithfuls figure out her treacherous identity.
How does The Traitors work and who hosts it?
The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.
Claudia Winkleman is the show’s host, and has now hosted all three series to date.
How does it work?
It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.
The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.
The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.
While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).
Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition
Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.
The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.
The prize sees the winner could get £120K.
One of the most iconic lines on Wednesday night’s show came from Linda, who tried to make the others think that Anna was one of the Traitors due to how she’d tied up the boat after an earlier mission.
Anna poked fun at the situation with a video of herself dancing around on TikTok, to which someone wrote: “Linda CAME for you girly!”
“YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A SAILOR TO TIE A ROPE…SORRY, too iconic to hate tbf, gotta love her,” Anna replied.
“I’m sorry but Linda’s line had me cackling,” another added.
“She’s so sassy!”
With Anna responding: “I’d be fuming but she comes our with such dramatic statements you can’t help but absolutely crease yourself!
“She’s a pantomime villain, I’m obsessed.”
Minah couldn’t hide her shock and excitement at being told they could recruit another Traitor on Wednesday’s show[/caption]Coleen Rooney reveals reason she almost quit I’m A Celeb – as she takes swipe at campmate
COLEEN Rooney has lifted the lid on her I’m A Celebrity stint and revealed why she almost walked out.
Coleen, 38, made it to the final of the most recent series of the ITV show – but she very nearly quit.
The star made it to the final of the 2024 series[/caption] Coleen has also thrown shade a campmate GK Barry[/caption]While opening up about her time Down Under in a new podcast, the mum-of-four also took a swipe at one of her campmates.
Taking aim at GK Barry, Coleen said: “Grace. She was funny. I’d never heard of her before. I didn’t know who she was.
“When she came in, I felt like she was trying to be funny. But she didn’t need to, because she was just naturally funny.”
Coleen, who is married to England football legend Wayne Rooney, spoke about her jungle experience on the Stick To Football podcast.
The star chatted to football stars Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, along with former I’m A Celeb alumni Ian Wright and Jill Scott.
Coleen told the foursome that the ITV show is the only one she had ever considered signing up to because “I’ve watched it for years and loved it”.
However, once in the jungle, Coleen said she almost quit due to all the ‘sex chat and swearing’ among the other campmates.
“I’m glad I did it,” Coleen admitted. “But a few days in, I thought, ‘What am I doing here? I thought, ‘I could walk’.
“I was sitting there and I had all these big characters singing and dancing around me and I was thinking, ‘What am I going to bring to this jungle? I’m just me’.
“My dad told me not to swear when I went in there, but they were all talking about sex and everything. I was thinking, ‘I can’t do this. I need to go and walk away’.
“You know where you think, ‘This is not me’.”
Thankfully, Coleen stuck with it and decided to stay put after getting to know all her campmates individually.
The WAG even ended up making it to the final, losing out at the last hurdle to winner and McFly star, Danny Jones.
Coleen said the campmates she bonded best with were Coronation Street star Alan Halsall and boxing legend Barry McGuigan.
She has also ruled out ever returning to the jungle for another go or an All Stars series, saying: “I won’t do it again.”
