JAKE Quickenden and wife Sophie have welcomed their second child together – an adorable baby boy.
Back in August, the I’m A Celebrity alum, 36, posted an Instagram video showing the little family finding out they were set to welcome another male to the fold in a cute gender reveal.
Now their second child has arrived in the world, with the proud parents announcing the joyful news on Instagram alongside a series of sweet images.
Jake wrote: “Welcome to world little one. Kit Quickenden 6lb 13oz.
“Born 08/01/25 – As a dad I just want to say Sophie was incredible, thank you for delivering Kit and being so amazing.”
The cute couple married in 2022 after starting dating four years earlier.
They share son Leo, aged three, and Freddie, 10 – 31-year-old Sophie’s son from another relationship.
Jake proudly revealed the pair were expecting their second baby in July.
In another cute social media post, the reality TV stalwart wrote: “WE HAVE NEWS…. soon to be five. We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world.
“We are super excited. Can’t wait to live off two hours sleep again. Have a lovely Sunday.”
DAD DRAMA
Last year, Jake told Mother & Baby of the difficulties in being a first-time dad.
He said: “I did struggle, I had burnout and I did find myself sitting on the bed and letting a few tears out every now and again with Sophie, and admitting like ‘this is just this is so hard, I’m so tired’.
“I think it is a sleep deprivation thing and once that goes and you all start sleeping more, it just becomes so much more enjoyable.”
Meanwhile, the pair faced cruel trolling following their latest gender reveal – after some social media users suggested Sophie was “disappointed” to welcome another boy into the fold.
Defending his wife direct on Instagram, the dad wrote: “We are over the moon, as long as the little one is healthy and happy that’s all that matters.
“Soph would have liked a girl to back her up, but we are so used to boys and we couldn’t be happier.
“Can’t wait to see if he looks like Leo, can’t wait to watch Fred and Leo with him….
“Now we need to get a name??”
Three-bedroom house on sale for £259k leaves house hunters shocked at ‘odd’ & ‘awful’ feature – would it put you off?
A TOWN house has just gone on the market for £259,000, but it’s left house hunters baffled.
The three-bed property in East Cowes, Isle of Wight, has been listed for sale on both Rightmove and Zoopla, but has been dubbed as ‘odd’ by many.
Not only this, but those looking to purchase a home have been left stunned by an ‘awful’ feature, leading many to claim: “I don’t understand’”.
The property has attracted attention online for all the wrong reasons, after being shared on the social media platform Reddit.
House hunters have been left confused over its strange structure, which sees a balcony on either side connecting the town houses together.
But that’s not all, as many were also confused by its very small front windows.
The estate agent’s listing reads: “Chain-free modern, detached house with three bedrooms, two balconies offering lovely views, gated parking area for two vehicles, well-presented accommodation spread over three floors.
“Located within a quiet residential spot on the outskirts of East Cowes, this detached family home offers a fantastic opportunity to own a spacious, three bedroom house with accommodation spread over three floors.”
Inside, the ground floor is complete with an entrance hall, two double bedrooms and a modern family bathroom.
On the first floor you’ll find the kitchen and a lounge, which has access to a private balcony.
Meanwhile, the second floor hosts the master suite, consisting of a main bedroom, dressing area and en-suite shower room.
From the dressing area you can access the roof terrace which boasts far-reaching views.
But Reddit users were left stunned by the design of the house – in particular by the window placement and balconies.
One Reddit user wrote: “Ok who was in charge of designing these houses? What an odd window placement in pic 1.”

A second chimed in: “These balconies are awful….. who will use them? Sit on them? I don’t understand why.”
A third commented: “Whoever designed it clearly wasn’t listening to the screams of anguish of those around them.”
Whilst someone else penned: “I used to live round the corner from these, and they were a bit odd.”
But that’s not all, as another user chimed in: “I don’t understand that balcony on this house. It looks tatty like a 60’s block of flats that’s been badly kept.
“The window placement is so ugly and unbalanced as well.
“No mention of a garden so that balcony might be the only outside space about from your parking space.”

A PRISON girlfriend has revealed what it’s like raising her child alone while her boyfriend is locked up.
Valery, from the UK, says her partner has been jailed five times leaving her to raise their daughter alone.
Speaking to Truly, she said: “We’ve been together for seven years, but in total he’s been in prison five times.
“People usually judge my relationship on social media. Someone said ‘delusion is a real thing.'”
But the mum-of-one doesn’t plan to give up on him, instead, she double-downed on her love for her man by getting matching tattoos with him before he was locked up.
“When Mo got out of prison, he wanted to do something exciting and fun,” she explained.
“So he thought, let’s just get matching tats. And I was like, yeah, why not? So he got king and I got queen, because I’m a queen and he’s my king.”
The pair started dating when they were 19, and within six months of their relationship Mo was behind bars.
But Valery says she couldn’t imagine life without him.
She added: “He really does annoy me, that he always end up going back to prison, but I feel like whenever he goes back, I just can’t abandon him. So I’m always there for him.”
The mum admitted that her family are against their relationship and tell Valery she can do better than criminal.
She swore in 2022 that if he did go back it would be the end, but she decided to stay put when he was locked up again and she was three months pregnant with their daughter.
Valery admits that it was tough going through pregnancy and labour alone.
Now their child is two years old Valery is acting like a single parent while Mo is in jail.
The pair keep in contact with visits, phone calls and letters, but Mo is currently looking at a 6 to 12 year sentence.
Despite Valery thinking Mo wouldn’t wait around for her if it was the other way around, she plans to be there for him until he’s out of jail.

“Whether we’ll be together or not, I’ll still be there for him,” she added.
The clip was a hit with viewers and many took to the comments saying Valery deserved better.
One person wrote: “Sometimes we really can’t help people.”
Another commented: “That poor baby will have to grow up visiting her father in prison for the rest of her life. Worst first impression for a kid about the man that should be setting an example.”
“Prison is all he knows he’ll continue to go back. You better off moving on, and live your life,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Wow, that’s some next-level naivety and stupidity. The icing on the cake, the neck tattoo.”
“Seems like he’s more committed to the people behind bars. The first time you get arrested you can actually learn from it. But this guy consistently gets arrested. 2 minutes in I stopped watching,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Valery, please realise you deserve to have someone who can build with you, someone who has enough self control to value his freedom and your relationship. Is this the role model you would want? Is this the image of life you would want to paint for a little girl or boy.”
