Armando Broja given oxygen and carried off on stretcher in final moments of Everton clash vs Peterborough
EVERTON star Armando Broja was stretchered off late on in his side’s FA Cup clash with Peterborough after suffering a worrying-looking injury.
The striker, 23, appeared to awkwardly twist his leg after being tackled by Posh defender Emmanuel Fernandez.

In the 86th minute he rounded Peterborough goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic, only for the covering Fernandez to tackle him.
The luckless forward seemed to land awkwardly and immediately appeared to be in huge discomfort.
He subsequently received lengthy medical treatment on the pitch, banging the turf in frustration.
Broja, who was given oxygen as he was treated, was eventually stretchered off the Goodison Park pitch.

The Traitors fans baffled over strange game plan as RARE move made amid shock refusal to tempting offer
FANS of The Traitors were confused by one of the contestants’ strange moves within the game.
Anna Duke, 28, is a swimming teacher from Wicklow, and during tonight’s episode, she was offered the chance to become a Traitor.
Anna has remained faithful to being a Faithful[/caption]But remaining faithful to being a Faithful, Anna decided to turn down the Traitor’s offer to recruit her as a Traitor – which is a rare move among contestants.
When the Traitors attempt to recruit a Faithful to become a Traitor, this means they don’t carry out a murder on that night.
Because of this, when the contestants gathered for breakfast the following morning – they knew that the Traitors might have tried to seduce a fellow Faithful.
Another reason for a murder not happening is when the Traitors try to murder a Faithful who has won a shield in the challenge.
So, the contestants – other than the Traitors and Anna – didn’t know for sure that the Traitors had attempted a seduction.
Anna didn’t come forward to admit she had been offered the chance to become a Traitor, leaving the rest of the contestants in the dark.
Viewers didn’t agree with Anna not coming clean about the Traitors trying to recruit her and her deciding to turn it down.
“Very confused, I don’t feel like there’s any reason to not tell anyone they tried to recruit her,” penned one person on X.
Another said: “Why? Why would you not just announce to the table – ‘they tried to recruit me last night, I turned it down, and that’s why no-one was murdered’? It’s the most obvious thing imaginable if they think they’re going to kill you anyway.”
FANS QUESTION ANNA’S CHOICE
A third person then asked: “Mate, why is Anna not telling people they attempted to recruit her?”
“If I was Anna I would 100% tell the group that the Traitors tried to recruit her and the note said ‘Strong Women’ on it,” said a fourth, “She’s holding a really strong secret here.”
A fifth person then said: “If I was Anna, I think I’d take a risk on telling everyone, but I’d have done it before everyone was confirmed as alive. I’d have let the group know nobody had been murdered because they tried to recruit me but I said no.”
While a sixth penned: “If i was Anna, I’d be standing on the breakfast table shouting, ‘THEY TRIED TO RECRUIT ME’!!!!”
MAJOR MISTAKE UNCOVERED
This comes after viewers uncovered a major mistake in the hit BBC show last night.
How does The Traitors work and who hosts it?
The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.
Claudia Winkleman is the show’s host, and has now hosted all three series to date.
How does it work?
It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.
The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.
The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.
While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).
Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition
Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.
The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.
The prize sees the winner could get £120K.
In every episode, once the Traitors have murdered a Faithful, all of the contestants arrive at the castle’s dining room for breakfast.
Arriving in small groups of two or three, it seems that the Traitors all arrive early on so they can see the reactions of everyone else as they figure out who was murdered.
Uncovering this huge flaw in the format, fans took to X to discuss.
“The last 2 that come through the door at breakfast are obviously Faithfuls. The Traitors usually have 3 names and for suspense they keep them until the last to enter at breakfast.
“I am surprised no one has ever mentioned this,” penned one person.
While another echoed: “If the Traitors just made a list of the last group to breakfast each day, they’d be able to work out who all the Faithfuls are.”
The Traitors is currently in its third series[/caption] Will the Traitors reign supreme for a third year in a row?[/caption]‘OMG the little one’s so cute’ cry shoppers as they spot Primark’s bargain dupe of £80 bag

And the high street giant has delivered the goods yet again in the form of an £8 handbag.
Shoppers are loving Primark’s new tote bags[/caption] The mini version is priced at just £8[/caption] The bags have been compared to Longchamp’s pricier versions[/caption] Longchamp canvas bags range from £80 to £120[/caption]The bag in question is a Mini Canvas Shopper with a tan faux leather handle and a cross-body strap, that comes in beige or black.
Primark bosses describe the bargain buy as a “must-have accessory” that is “cute yet practical” .
They add: “The faux leather handles effortlessly elevate the design, adding a luxe look and feel.
“This bag is completed with a classic zip closure for a practical finishing touch. Use it to compliment all your outfits.”
There is also a larger version up for grabs, priced at £10, that comes in red as well as the two staple colours.
And savvy shoppers may notice that the bags are the perfect dupe for Longchamp’s Le Pliage Original canvas bags.
The difference between the two? A cool £72 for the mini version, and £110 for the larger tote.
So if you’re on a tight budget then you may want to head down to your nearest Primark.
Sharing a short clip of the stylish accessories, staff at the retail giant’s Lincoln store said: “One of our current favourites. Our new bags come in 2 different sizes.”
Shoppers seem to be just as impressed by the new bags too, as one gushed: “Omggg the little Longchamp dupes are so cutee.”
A second chimed in: “Obsessed with this & only £8.”
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “I neeeeeed this.”
The bag isn’t the only dupe shoppers are loving in store at the moment.
Fashion fans are going wild for Primark’s new wrap-around legging sets in beige and chocolate brown which come with a matching vest.
The Seamless Gym Vest Top in chocolate brown cost just £7 and the Seamless V-Waist Leggings in the same shade were £11.
The set is almost identical to Lululemon’s viral wrap leggings but costs a fraction of the price.
While the designer version costs £88 for a pair of gym pants, Primark is just £11 saving you £77 in total.
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
