The belted hot water bottle has arrived in stores across the country and is also available online.

The belted hot water bottle, retailing at €10, has a soft grey cover and Velcro strap.
An Irish TikTok user, who posts under @megankatemcg, told how the hot water bottle is a game-changer.
She said: “This one is for the girls, potentially the guys as well. But I feel like definitely more girls.
“If you want to get yourself like a little treat, like a little sweet treat, a little something cosy for this freezing weather, or just in general, to make your life 10 times happier – you need this, this bad boy strap on hot water bottle.”
Megan revealed the grey hot water bottle strapped to her stomach.
She continued: “It straps on. You can put it on your front. On your belly, for belly cramps.
“You can turn it around. Put on your back, for lower back pain.”
The TikToker said the bottle is the “biggest bargain with maximum joy and comfort”.
Dunnes Stores urged users to avoid prolonged, direct contact with the skin.
And the hot water bottle should not be used by children under 36 months as it could be a choking hazard.
The retailer issued a safety warning saying “hot water bottles can cause burns”.
They said: “Check the entire hot water bottle including the stopper for any signs of wear or damage before each use.
“To fill this hot water bottle do not use boiling water and fill to maximum of two-thirds capacity or less.
“Hold the bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back.
“Expel air from the bottle by lowering it carefully onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening.
“Screw the stopper sufficiently tight to ensure that there is no leakage.
“Prevent contact with oil and grease. Do not place anything on top of the bottle.”
Fans rushed to the comments to rave over her find.
One person said: “Omggg running to Dunnes now influenced need this.”
Another said: “Gimme 14 of them right now.”
One shopper shared: “I got one of these of Amazon for period paid and my other half took the bottle.”
While another added: “This is genius.”
Why police were called to first Dunnes Stores opening
BETWEEN the weekly food shops and bargain fashion - Dunnes Stores is a staple retailer in Irish households.
But this wasn’t always the case, and when the initial branch of the shop opened its doors in 1944 it caused quite the stir
On March 31 of the year, Ben Dunne opened the first ever Dunnes Stores on St Patrick’s Street in Co Cork.
Locals quickly learned of the grand opening and flooded into the store in what the retailer’s archives recall as a “shopping frenzy.”
The bargain clothing on sale inside the new store at “pre-war prices” was one of the factors cited for the buzz.
During the chaos a window was forced in and Gardai were called to the scene.
Cops worked to deal with the eager crowds and keep shoppers calm and safe before they made it into the store for their first Dunnes experience.
Fast forward some 80 years, the business now employs over 18,000 people and although an opening of a Dunnes branch hasn’t caused quite as much stir since the very first one, it has cemented its place as one of the nation’s leading retailers.
