King Charles and Queen Camila shared on X: “Happy Birthday to The Princess of Wales!”

The Monarch, 75, shared a picture of Kate attending the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, last year.

Royal fans also inundated the mum-of-three with sweet well wishes.

One wrote: “I love the princess of Wales so much. She is an angel.”

Another penned: “Happy birthday to the beautiful princess.”

“Wishing Catherine the happiest of birthdays today. May today and the next year be wonderful for her. Much love to the Princess,” shared a third.

It comes as Kate marks a gradual return to work following a turbulent past 12 months.

Since her last birthday, the 43-year-old has remained largely out of the public eye after undergoing abdominal surgery and subsequently cancer treatment.

She announced in September last year that she had finished chemotherapy and would focus on being “cancer free” in a heartwarming video.

By the end of 2024, the Princess made more appearances including hosting her annual Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.

And that gradual return continues in 2025 — although fans have been warned not to expect Kate to be “rushing back to the same volume of work” as before.

It is also understood tours abroad are “not on the table”, despite Prince William last year saying they might “have some more trips lined up”.

Instead, Kate’s “primary focus” will be her Centre for Early Childhood and UK-based engagements. She is expected to be seen “up and down the country” this year.

She will also support the Royal Family at events such as Buckingham Palace Garden Parties, Trooping the Colour, Royal Ascot and the Remembrance Day commemorations.

A source said: “There is no huge reset button on her work and if you look to the back end of 2024 there was a gradual return of the Princess of Wales into more public engagements.

“That gradual return will continue into 2025 and it was an extremely warm and wonderful bookend to 2024 to see her at the carol service, and she continues that gradual return.”

Kensington Palace is working on her 2025 programme, which “balances work, being a mum and supporting her wider family” and public-facing engagements will continue this year.

A source said: “It would be wonderful to see the Princess of Wales up and down the country and this year I’m sure that will be the case.”

Medical staff raced on to the pitch to give the Uruguayan medical treatment – including oxygen – before stretching him off and sending him to the hospital.

Bentancur’s girlfriend Melany La Blanca quickly raced to be by his beside – just hours after the publicly gushing over their daughter.

The Uruguay international reposted a wholesome snap of them posing with their little one, who appeared to be celebrating a big milestone, to his Instagram story.

La Blanca wrote “nuestra tan bebe ya no tan bebe” across the image, which translated to English means: “Our baby’s no longer a baby.”

Bentancur, thankfully, regained consciousness before he was admitted to hospital to undergo further evaluation.

And the former Juventus ace gave Spurs fans an update on his condition after being given a once-over by doctors.

Along with a picture of himself smiling with La Blanca, he wrote on his Instagram story: “All good guys.

“Thank you for the messages. Congratulations for the victory boys!!!”

Major land & air search for man, 62, missing in -8C freeze as people urged ‘search sheds’ & locals issue urgent appeal

A SEARCH was due to resume this morning for a 62-year-old man who has been missing amid freezing temperatures in west Co Limerick since last Monday night.

Limerick was one of the hardest-hit counties hit by the freeze last night, with Met Eireann recording bitter -8C temperatures at Limerick Junction.

A land and air search for the missing man began yesterday across frozen fields, ditches, farms and byways.

A team of local volunteers, assisted by Gardai, as well as the Shannon-based Irish Coast Guard rescue helicopter, Rescue 115, carried out a comprehensive search of the Granagh area in difficult conditions before the operation was stood down for the night.

A missing person notice shared online by several community groups in the area, stated Gardai were seeking the assistance of people in the Granagh, Ballingarry and Croom area in locating Mr Noonan.

Mr Noonan is described as approximately 5’ 9” in height, of stocky build and last seen wearing a knee-length grey coat and black wool hat.

The community notices asked people in the surrounding areas “to search outhouses and sheds” and report any sightings to Newcastle West Garda Station and or Henry Street Garda Station.

A local source said: “Searches for Joe are to begin from the hall in Granagh at approximately 10am Thursday morning.

“Anyone available, have suitable clothing and footwear, as conditions are very difficult, and are more than likely to worsen over night.

“A search plan will be decided upon tomorrow morning. Any help will be greatly appreciated.”

In a second appeal in Limerick, Gardai sought the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 27-year-old Hubert Szubiak who was reported missing from his home in Bruff yesterday.

Mr Szubiak is described as being approximately 5 feet 9 inches in height with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a black hoodie with blue writing, black pants, and glasses, and may have been driving a grey Audi A6 with 09-MH registration plate.

Anyone with information on Mr Szubiak’s whereabouts is asked to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061 382 940, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

Dragons’ Den’s Peter Jones reveals behind-the-scenes filming secrets of BBC show as it returns for series 22 tonight

DRAGONS’ Den star Peter Jones has opened up about chaotic behind-the-scenes filming secrets – as the hit BBC show returns tonight.

The Beeb launched Dragons’ Den in 2005, with the show’s 22nd series beginning tonight (January 9).

Peter, 58, is the last remaining investor (“Dragon”) and gave viewers an insight into making the programme.

He told The Guardian how, almost two decades ago, Dragons’ Den‘s pilot had been filmed at a London warehouse.

The entrepreneur added: “It was near a train track so every four or five minutes we’d have to pause filming for 10 seconds as another train went by.”

Peter continued: “We still have no idea who is going to walk into the den and pitch their idea.

When I sit in that chair waiting for the lift doors to open, I genuinely wonder: “Am I going to meet the next Levi Roots?

Meanwhile, the Dragons’ line-up has changed on numerous occasions throughout the BBC show’s run.

Peter’s current co-stars are Deborah Meaden, Touker Souleyman, Steven Barlett and Sara Davies.

But the investors don’t always agree with one another – with Peter once left stunned after one of Deborah’s investments.

The Dragons locked horns after Mike Goulden and Ben Whittaker presented their eco-friendly car charging brand to the Dragons.

As stated in the pitch, their business Kerbo Charge fits underground charging cables for electric car drivers right outside their property.

Upon negotiation, Deborah agreed to invest £50,000 for 6% of the business.

Dragons' Den stars - past and present

Dragons' Den has been on our screens since 2005 and sees entrepreneurs enter the Den to try and win investment for their businesses from the Dragons.

Over the years there have been many wealthy investors sitting in the famous seats, here’s a rundown of them all and how long they were on the show for.

In the aftermath, Peter exclaimed that he was “flabbergasted” by the move.

“You offered on an underground cable track.

“Honestly, I don’t know what to say…” he added.

Series 22 of Dragons Den launches tonight (January 9) on BBC One at 8pm.
