Tiny homes are getting increasingly popular in the UK, especially in the cost of living crisis when first-time buyers are struggling to get on the property ladder or current homeowners are having to pay ridiculous interest rates on mortgages.
But Rebecca Miller, Fabulous’ Associate Editor, has shared why living in a tiny home would be her idea of a nightmare.
“I’m currently in the process of selling my flat and buying a house, and as I pack up all my belongings, I’m worried where it is all going to go – there is so much stuff!
Fortunately, I’m very privileged to be buying a house with more square feet than my current flat.
But it got me wondering, could I ever live in a small space? And the answer is no.
Living with another person immediately cuts down on personal space, but remove several rooms, and I’d be left with only the bathroom as my sanctuary. I’m not sure I’d be able to cope!
I’m like a magpie, I like collecting pretty things, and I like my belongings to be organised. With limited storage space, I’d find it really hard to keep everything neat and tidy.
One of the joys of being an independent adult is being able to host – friends, family, overnight stays, and dinner parties. Where would I gather everyone for a Sunday lunch if my table only sat two? Not to mention, how would I cook a Sunday lunch?
Both as an individual, as part of a couple and also my hobbies, can be restricted by physical space. When I first moved into my flat, I was overjoyed at having my own balcony, and it has been a space where my love for gardening has grown. Five years on, my balcony is now overflowing with plants, and I’ve had to set up a mini propagator in the living room!
And don’t worry if when it arrives you don’t think it’s the right one for you, as it’s returnable within 30 days of receipt.
To top it all off, the 30-year-old manufacturer even offers buyers a three-year warranty.
As well as this, Amazon shoppers will also get a lifetime maintenance on this high-quality tiny home.

ASHLEY Cain has shared some sweet new snaps with his two baby sons, three months after becoming a dad for the third time.
The 34-year-old star announced the birth of his third child last November.
Ashley took to social media at the time to share the happy news and revealed his baby boy’s name.
Ashley wrote: “Atlas Diamond Cain – 29.11.24. Welcome to the world, my son!”
He’s since shared the occasional look at little Atlas with his delighted fans.
And over the weekend, the doting dad posed for some snaps with his two sons.
Sitting his youngest son Atlas on his knee, Ashley could be seen with his other arm around Aliyas Diamond.
Ashley welcomed son Aliyas Diamond in January but hasn’t revealed the the identity of his mother.
It’s unclear if Aliyas and Atlas have the same mum.
Ashley penned: “Daddy duties x 2, meetings on top of meetings, filming days after filming days and back to back training like a Spartan again.. Oh, and I got to pick my little Dorris back up this weekend from a little pamper she had too.
“Trust me, I don’t know when that thing they call sleep happens.. But every hour of the day I spend awake is worth it!
“Hope you had a great weekend my people – sending love as always.”
In the carousel of snaps, Ashley could be seen spending quality time with his sons, and in a video he took his little one to a soft play.
He was also seen gazing at his youngest while making playful facial expressions, and in another snap they were seen FaceTiming.
Ashley lost eight-month-old Azaylia Diamond – whom he shared with ex Safiyya Vorajee – in April 2021.
She had been battling a rare form of leukaemia.
He only announced right before his youngest son’s birth that he was set to become a dad for the third time.
Ashley said at the time: My little girl will soon have another little brother to watch over, and my little boy will not only be a baby brother but a big brother too.
“With all the heartache I’ve been through, I’m truly grateful that I can really start counting my blessings again!!”
HE may have been starring in Tyrone on Sunday but last month David Clifford was taking a bite out of all that the Big Apple has to offer.
The Kerry talisman saved the day with an outrageous hat-trick in Pomeroy as they eventually won out by 3-13 to 2-13.
The Kingdom were five points down in the second half — and had two players including Clifford black-carded — yet outscored Tyrone with 13 men to win in Pomeroy.
The Red Hands, who brought Errigal Ciarán trio Darragh and Ruairí Canavan and Peter Harte off the bench, failed to score in the last quarter as Kerry piled on an unanswered 1-5 to grab two big league points.
Darragh Canavan bagged a goal on his return but it was Clifford who was the star of the show.
He said: “The break I had was really enjoyable and when you come back you’re not fully sure where you are because you’re training on your own.
“But it is great to get a win up here. It was a cross-wind and not easy to kick into either goal really.
“We really pressed them on the kickout and it made a massive difference to the drama of the game.”
The game was moved on Saturday from Omagh to Pomeroy, which is the highest village in Ulster.
And it was Clifford who rose to the greatest heights.
With both teams in relegation trouble before the throw-in, Tyrone looked on course to earn a precious win when they led 2-13 to 2-8 with 20 minutes to play.
Darragh Canavan, on as a sub for his first Tyrone appearance of 2025, and Mark Bradley scored goals in the third quarter as they stretched their 0-11 to 1-5 interval lead out to five points.
Joe O’Connor got a black card for hauling Darragh Canavan down as Kerry conceded a penalty, which Bradley booted into the net at the second attempt.
It was soon followed by a David Clifford black card but he came back on to complete his hat-trick with another left-footed shot past Niall Morgan.
That drew Kerry level with four minutes to play and with the visitors pressing up on Tyrone’s kickouts and the home side unable to get any supply to their dangerous forwards.
Kerry controlled the closing stages and tapped over the insurance points.
Tyrone remain second from bottom in Division 1 with just two points from four games and difficult away games to come against Galway and Donegal.
Just as they did against Derry, Kerry staged a late rally to pick up the points on the road.
Despite losing both homes games so far to Donegal and Dublin, they moved into mid-table safety with four points.
After such a poor display in Castlebar a week earlier, this was a much-improved performance by Tyrone, at least until the critical final quarter.
Yet the outcome was still the same and it may turn out to be a damaging defeat for them in terms of staying up.
HARRISON Ford attended the 2025 SAG Awards last night and became the star of a viral moment that left viewers roaring with laughter.
The Hollywood icon, known for roles in Star Wars and Indiana Jones, attended the awards after recently enjoying a career rebirth, starring in Captain America: Brave New World, 1923, and Apple+ series Shrinking.
He was in good company at the bash, which was filmed live, surrounded by fellow A-listers Peter Dinklage, Adrien Brody and his Shrinking co-stars Jason Segel and Jessica Williams sat at dinner tables.
The 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards opened in Los Angeles with the camera panning the Shrine Auditorium, and showing famous faces delivering speeches about the meaning of being an actor.
But when it landed on Shrinking star Jessica, Harrison, 82, appeared totally unaware that he was on TV — and was caught tucking into a biscuit.
As he was about to take another bite it suddenly dawned on him and he stopped chewing, froze, and carefully placed the treat back on his plate.
The mishap threw Jessica off and she burst into laughter.
“I told him to turn away,” she choked, before jokingly yelling at her Shrinking co-star, “Don’t look (at the camera)!”
The clip has been spreading online, with fans on X relishing the actor’s relatable moment.
One commented: “Zero f**ks given, been in the game long enough not to have to follow the rules.”
Another said: “Harrison Ford always looks like he’s having the time of his life.”
As a third reacted: “I ran into a vein of really good writing, and I thought I’d take advantage of it, and I’m really glad I did.”
One more posted: “Iconic moment…
“Who else would eat like that in front of the camera?”

Titanfall 2. Remember that game? It’s been a beloved yet underappreciated gem in the FPS genre with a sequel that never arrived. And with EA’s cancellation of the unannounced Titanfall Legends project, there’s really no hope that we can hold onto. However, a Helldivers 2 crossover might be what we need.
