I’m a football WAG but still love a cheap buy, I’ve kitted out our new bedroom in Home Bargains bits that look expensive
A FOOTBALLER’S fiancee has shared an inside peek at their new bedroom – and she’s kitted it out in Home Bargains buys.
Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of ex-Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw.

The couple recently moved to Northampton after he signed for a new team, which mean a new house project for stylish Ellie.
In the past, their moves have been so quick that Liam’s washing was still wet as Ellie packed up to get him to his new club in time.
And this time round, the couple had to stay in a hotel for a week until the WAG found them a new home.
“This is just the life of being a footballer’s girlfriend”, she said.
“You have to do all the stuff while they’re at work.”
Speaking in her YouTube vlog, she revealed: “We’re now living in Northampton because Liam signed for Northampton Football Club so we’ve got a gorgeous new house.
“This is our first time as well that we’ve been able to furnish the whole house which is so fun.
“So I’ve literally been able to buy absolutely everything because before we had our own bed and our own sofa but apart from that everything else was already there like it had like a built-in dining table up to the kitchen and stuff whereas this time it was a blank canvas.”
She added: “I’ve literally built everything because Liam’s been training every day, he’s been so busy.
“When I’ve got something that I want to get done I want to get it done right then so literally like the first away game that he had and we were in the house I built the dining table and the bed all on my own we did the wardrobe together.”
And while Ellie’s dressing room is packed full of designer handbags and shoes, she managed to source some bargain buys that make their new bedroom look luxe on a budget.
Giving followers a sneak peek, she gushed: “I’ve got like chocolate brown and wood. I love this room so much.
“My bedside tables were from The Range. I had my eye on some other ones but they were sold out and then I took a picture and Googled and these came up and they were really similar.
“I think they look really expensive and it just breaks up the beige a little bit having this darker wood.”
But it was a pair of bedside lamps that Ellie hailed as the “bargain of the century”.
“These were from Home Bargains [and] they’re literally £19.99 each and like they’re really heavy and thick and it’s like a concrete looking lamp”, she revealed.
“I can’t lift that with one hand because it’s actually really heavy.”
The WAG did admit that both lamp shades arrived damaged which meant she had to buy new ones.
But it’s not put her off the retail chain, or the overall look as she gushed: “How expensive does that look?
“I think because they’re so big it really makes a difference and it literally matches everything perfectly, I’m obsessed.”
Ellie also bagged fluffy brown chocolate brown cushions, £18 each, and a matching throw for £30 in store to complete the look.
Ellie’s footballer beau Liam Shaw only played twice for Celtic in three years – but never tasted defeat.
Loan spells at Motherwell, Morecambe and Wigan followed before his release from the Hoops last summer – one year early.
He then joined Charlie Adam at Fleetwood Town on a short-term deal before signing for League One side Northampton in January.
Liam proposed to Ellie during a holiday to Jamaica last May.
Sharing news of their engagement accompanied by a pic of her huge diamond ring on social media, smitted Ellie said: “Always and forever.
Helldivers 2 Energy Weapons Are Trash – One Destiny 2 Weapon-Type Is the Solution
Let’s face it: for all the ways Helldivers 2 lets us deliver explosive democracy to alien scum, its energy weapons feel like bringing a potato gun to a nuclear war. While Arrowhead Game Studios has created one of the most satisfying co-op experiences in recent memory, there’s one department where they’ve missed the mark worse than a Helldiver calling in an orbital strike on their own position. The problem […]

“This could have been a great arc”: I Still Can’t Believe Romain Grosjean Didn’t Sue ‘Drive to Survive’ After Netflix Hurt His Image at Every Chance
Drive to Survive has made a lot of people angry for a lot of reasons – the least of which is showcasing Romain Grosjean’s unfavorable montage of crashes on the track. The Netflix series excels in carving out a juicy storyline where there aren’t any, pitting friends as archenemies and turning harmless pranks into acts […]

EastEnders’ Danielle Harold and Max Bowden’s secret dating caused backstage drama with co-star ex, say eagle eyed fans
FANS of EastEnders’ think Danielle Harold and Max Bowden’s secret dating caused backstage drama with his co-star ex.
The Ben Mitchell actor was previously in a relationship with Shona McGarty, 33.

Together, the duo were in a relationship for around six months as they worked together on the long-running BBC One soap.
Although they seemingly became close quickly, the duo soon called it quits.
This was shortly after Max became a father for the first time with his ex-girlfriend, Roisin Buckle.
We previously reported that Max Bowden and Danielle Harold sparked a mystery after unfollowing each other on social media.
The duo reportedly “had a secret years-long romance” that they hid from fans, but their relationship has now come to light.
They previously appeared on the latest episode of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, which coincided with EastEnders’ 40th anniversary.
A source said: “It’s all very strange. Max and Danielle used to be so close – even after they left the show. But to unfollow each other so publicly seems so strange.”
One eagle-eyed fan took to social media forum site Reddit, as they questioned the motives behind the hive of activity,
Starting a new thread post on the platform, the fan wrote: “Umm why Max Bowden and Danielle Harold unfollowed each other on Instagram?
“I know I don’t have a life and all but I accidentally saw it today and I was like whaaaat!?”
The user added: “I wonder what happened I love those 2..”
Another user replied to the post, suggesting that it may have had to do with Shona McGarty.
She apparently unfollowed both of her former colleagues when they got together.
The fan replied: “Danielle supposedly unfollowed Shona [during] the BSA nominations in March.
EastEnders stars who QUIT

MICHELLE Collins has seen her second EastEnders stint boost her bank balance. Yet what stars have quit this year?
The Sun exclusively reported how Michelle, 62, was down to £20,000 in her company accounts when she agreed to a shock back-from-the-dead return to Albert Square last year.
Her character, Cindy Beale, was presumed dead off-camera in 1998.
Yet what about the 2024 exits?
Earlier this summer, loyal soap fans appeared to note how Stevie Mitchell had “quit” the long-running series.
It came after Alan Ford enjoyed just six-months on-screen.
Bobby Beale actor Clay Milner Russell also left this year after five years in Walford.
Fans also feared Martin Fowler actor James Bye would “quit out of boredom” over recent storylines.
Additionally, a host of stars have quit the BBC soap for Hollywood fame.
One of the most successful stars to come from the BBC One soap is Rob Kazinsky.
He played Stacey Slater’s brother Sean Slater from 2006 to 2009, he has starred in Hollywood blockbusters Pacific Rim and Captain Marvel.
Ben Hardy, who quit EastEnders as Bobby Beale almost a decade ago, went on to break Hollywood the following year, when he starred as Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Since then, he has played Roger Taylor in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and he starred in Michael Bay’s Netflix movie 6 Underground.
Michelle Ryan played Zoe Slater until 2005.
She starred as the lead in short-lived American series Bionic Woman from 2007 to 2008.
“Shona & Max obvs have a romantic history & Shona was also posting cryptic insults (people suspected were aimed at Max) as well as plugging for votes for herself.”
This comes after Shona opened up meeting her now-fiancé David Bracken, admitting that she started getting to know him two years ago.
Shona remained friends with Max following their split, and she even gushed about her close bond with Max’s mum at the British Soap Awards.
