Marcus Rashford ‘willing to make sacrifice’ to seal ‘dream’ Barcelona transfer – but Man Utd may still need to help out

MARCUS RASHFORD is reportedly prepared to take a pay cut to make his “dream” move to Barcelona a reality.

The out-of-favour Manchester United striker has been left out for ten-straight games by boss Ruben Amorim.

Rashford watched on from the stands as the Red Devils picked up a dramatic 2-1 win over Rangers on Thursday night.

The 27-year-old has reportedly been offered to clubs all over Europe this January.

But only Barcelona remain in the race as teams struggle to take on Rashford’s £325,000-a-week wage packet.

According to reports in Spain, Rashford is “willing to lower his salary” in order to push through a loan move to the Nou Camp.

Mundo Deportivo cite negotiations between Rashford’s camp and Barcelona sporting director Deco.

The report suggests the Catalan giants are struggling to afford the England striker’s wages unless they offload players.

Rashford is reportedly “aware” of the issue and would “take a pay cut” in the short term to make the move happen.

Even then, it would take United paying “at least half of the forward’s salary” for a deal to be struck.

Dortmund, AC Milan, and Napoli have all been linked with a move for Rashford this January.

But all have found his wages to be a stumbling block in negotiations.

West Ham were also linked after the arrival of new boss Graham Potter.

According to talkSPORT, the Hammers “asked to be kept informed” of Rashford’s situation.

The striker signed a bumper new five-year deal with his boyhood club in the summer of 2023.

It saw Rashford become the third-highest earner at Old Trafford.

Just 18 months later, Amorim was unable to confirm on Friday if he would ever pull on a United shirt again.

Asked about the England forward’s future, the Portuguese boss replied: “I don’t know. I really don’t know.

“We will see in the end of the window what happened.

“And then we will talk about that in the moment.”

United currently sit 13th in the Premier League table with just one win from their last five games.

The Red Devils have lost 10 of their 22 league games this season, with a tough visit to Fulham next up on Sunday.

Kate Moss looks all partied out after stunning in a plunging top at Paris Fashion Week

KATE Moss looked all partied out after showcasing her sensational style at Paris Fashion Week.

Kate was reportedly the last guest to leave the Dior event, where she wowed in a plunging white blouse paired with black trousers and heels.

She finished off her classy monochrome look with a black fur coat, adding a pop of colour with a red handbag.

Kate pulled her blonde locks into a stylish up-do to attend the Dior event in the French capital.

She kept a straight face as she left the shindig at The Ritz, keeping her make-up simple so her natural glow shone through.

It came after the Croydon-born catwalk star was hailed one of the most beautiful women, according to science.

Mum of one Kate was found to be 94.14 per cent accurate to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – which measures physical perfection.

Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of perfection, with a golden ratio of 94.14 per cent.

Dr Julian De Silva said: “Kate Moss is the most beautiful of all the supermodels and was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.

“Kate has been the face of UK modelling for the last 30 years and is a wonderful ambassador for our fashion industry.”

PARTY GIRL

The beauty reveal came after the model whipped up a storm for her lavish 51st birthday bash at three different London venues.

The party followed the former Topshop collaborator’s split with her aristocrat boyfriend of nine years.

The Sun was first to report her sad break-up with Nikolai von Bismarck, with the bash marking the first sign of her newly-single status.

For years, Kate lived in the sleepy Cotswolds with photographer Nikolai, who is teetotal and prefers the quiet life.

A source previously told us: “Now that her daughter Lila is all grown up and she is single again, Kate feels like she wants to let her hair down and be carefree — which is not something she’s been able to do for a long time.

“She is looking on the bright side of life. Although it’s sad her relationship is over, she is throwing herself back into her social life and embracing the new year.”

Kate and Nikolai started dating in 2015 and, since then, she has been living a more wholesome life.

As well as more time spent in the countryside, she launched her wellness brand, Cosmoss.

But it sounds as though the fun and flirty Kate will be back with gusto. A source said when the couple split: “She felt they were going on different journeys in life.”
