Fitness fans to flock to the tills as major active range lands in Lidl Ireland from just €4.99
LIDL Ireland fans are racing to the tills to snap up some brand new fitness gadgets – and prices start at just €4.99.
The bargain supermarket dropped the new fitness items in the middle aisle just days ago.
A back brace is ideal for fitness fans and those who suffer from back pain[/caption] The massage gun is a great option for those wanting to treat themselves[/caption] The scales is a must have for all fitness fans[/caption]It comes at the perfect time as punters are following through on their New Year‘s fitness resolutions.
The new range is the ideal way to keep healthy without breaking the bank.
Some fitness brands cost a fortune for you to keep in shape, but luckily for fans, the new range is at affordable prices.
The collection includes ladies sports leggings for only €7.99.
Available in sizes S up to L, the high waisted leggings are specially designed for quick drying and moisture wicking.
They come in three great colour options, so shoppers are spoiled for choice.
The leggings are available in bright pink, deep navy, or a funky multi-colour graphic pattern.
Also available are men’s trainers from only €10.99.
The comfy shoes come in sizes 7.5 up to 11.5, and are specially designed for extra flexibility.
They have a lace up design and with breathable mesh for extra comfort.
The shoes are ideal for walking and running or for wearing during gym workouts.
And like the leggings, the shoes are available in multiple design options.
The first is a sleek all black colour scheme, with white soles for an added pop of colour.
Or, there’s a unique black and green design with neon threading for a bold design.
Beyond the fitness clothes, there are plenty of items that fitness fans will get loads of use from.
There’s a handy muscle stimulator to help you relax your muscles after a hard workout.
It comes at the bargain price of €19.99 and has 24 different modes of operation.
The item is designed to relieve tension in your muscles and soothe pain from a day at the gym.
For a major treat, the range will also feature a massage gun that’s perfect for relaxing your muscles.
It’s a great way to get an at home treat without forking out for a real massage.
The item costs €79.99 and has five different intensity levels.
Another great item available to shoppers is the back brace, a handy thing to have to prevent back pain.
It’s easy to hurt or even injure yourself when lifting heavy weights or doing complicated stretches.
Luckily, a back brace can help you to keep a straight posture and reduce pain in your lower muscles.
The handy back brace is also ideal for those who don’t work out but may suffer from back or joint pain.
The handy item costs just €6.99 and is available in sizes XS up to XXL.
It has built in special heat technology that helps to reduce pains and aches and is perfect for wearing under your clothes.
A similarly useful item in the new range is the knee brace, which is ideal for protecting one of the body’s most sensitive spots.
Spraining or even dislocating your knee can happen easily when doing a lot of intense workouts.
By adding a knee brace, the bones are kept straight and are less likely to be injured.
The knee brace can be put on under a tracksuit for running or over leggings while working out.
In a sleek black colour, it costs just €4.99 and comes in sizes S up to XXL.
Lidl said it offers “gentle compression and support for joints”.
Another major bargain in the collection is the weighing scales, perfect for those who want to track their weight loss journey.
The scales is a must have for anyone who wants every detail of their fitness life.
It shows not only the current weight but also body fat, muscle mass, body water, bone mass and calorie allowance.
And it has special Bluetooth technology to transmit the information to other devices.
The handy scales cost just €17.99 and come in black or white colour options.

ARSENAL fans have been left fuming that Myles Lewis-Skelly will now face a three-games suspension.
The academy graduate, 18, was sent off in the 43rd minute of his side’s clash with Wolves for a foul on Matt Doherty.
Myles Lewis-Skelly cynically brought down Matt Doherty[/caption] Arsenal players surrounded referee Michael Oliver[/caption]The cynical trip was deemed to be “serious foul play” by referee Michael Oliver.
Premier League Match Centre went on to clarify on social media: “The referee’s call of a red card for Lewis-Skelly was checked and confirmed by VAR, who deemed his challenge to have been serious foul play.”
After the incident, it dawned on some fans online that Lewis-Skelly would be in line for a three-match ban for his offence.
One wrote on social media: “That’s Lewis Skelly banned for 3 games now talk about giving his pals at City a chance.”
The full-back will not be suspended for the Champions League trip to Girona.
His ban, only valid for domestic competitions, will begin with next week’s clash with Manchester City at the Emirates.
He will then be in line to miss the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Newcastle, and a Prem trip to Leicester.
Joao Gomes went on to be sent off for a second bookable offence, meaning that he will receive a one-match ban.
This prompted an Arsenal fan to whinge: “Gomes will only serve a 1 game ban for an ankle breaking tackle while Miles Lewis Skelly will serve a 3 game ban for a tactical foul. The Michael Oliver logic.”
A further supporter cried: “So basically if we don’t win the appeal for Skelly he gets a 3 match ban and Gomes gets a 1 match ban for 2 yellows and a worse tackle. F***ing shambles.”
Another added: “These guys think we are idiots! Lewis Skelly gets a straight red and 3 match ban but Gomes gets a second yellow for the exact same challenge.”
