RTE star Carl Mullan welcomes third baby into world with wife and reveals her name as he shares first snaps
RTE star Carl Mullan and his wife Aisling have welcomed their third child into the world.
The couple were already parents to their three-year-old son Daibhi and one-year-old daughter Éala.
Carl and Aisling got married in Ballybeg House in County Wicklow in April 2022.
The 2FM host shared the exciting baby news with his fans on his Instagram today and revealed her newborn’s name.
Aisling gave birth to a baby girl last week and called her Béibhínn.
Taking to his Instagram today Carl wrote: “Welcome to the world, Béibhínn Mullan.
“We are so over the moon to have another beautiful little girl who joined us last week, and both she and her Mam are doing great.
“We’ve spent the last few days adjusting to life as a family of five—and coming to terms with the fact that we are both now officially outnumbered.”
He added: “Once again, we can’t thank the wonderful staff at Holles Street Hospital enough.
“Honest to God, they are angels on earth. There were so many we came across—some whose names we can’t recall—but to Rebecca, Omar, Sophia, Bríd, Bianca, Trish, Katie, Eugenia, and everyone else we were fortunate enough to meet: we are forever grateful to you for bringing our daughter safely into the world.”
Carl opened up about his body image struggles, particularly since becoming a dad, last year.
He explained that looking back he wasn’t ready for how his life would change when he welcomed his first child.
Speaking to Brendan O’Connor on his show, the Dublin native said: “I don’t think I was fully mentally prepared before becoming a dad for what it would mean.
“I often talk to people about the mourning of the loss of your old life. That’s probably the biggest thing I’ve had to try and figure out.
“You realise, ‘Oh, it’s gone. It is not coming back’, I keep thinking it’s coming back – it’s not.”
The 35-year-old explained how deep rooted his relationship with his weight has become as he wants to be the best version of himself for his kids
He said: “It is something that I’ve always struggled with. There’s less time for yourself or to go to the gym, I’ve definitely struggled with body image and particularly in the last couple of years.
“It’s just feeling self-conscious about putting on weight or clothes not fitting as well as you’d like and being out and about and wanting to look good.
“But actually, a lot of it now, it’s even more deep-rooted, because I want to be the best version of myself for my kids.”
He added: “I want to be healthy and I want to be there for them. And sometimes, just because it’s so mad, you don’t get to be that best version of yourself the whole time.
“It’s nearly the fact that I know that just by eating healthy and exercising, I know I can be the best version of myself, creatively, and I can have more energy for my kids.
“So there’s nearly a guilt around when you’re not eating properly because you’re just running on empty. That you’re going, ‘But now I know I’m not being the best version of myself that I can be’.
“There’s definitely an element of that public body image, but actually it’s more so rooted in just me and my life at home.”
Primark shopper goes viral & slammed as ‘vile’ for smearing dog POO on shop floor – with many stunned by the ‘audacity’
A WOMAN has gone viral and has been slammed for her ‘vile’ behaviour after her dog pooed in the middle of a Primark store.
In a clip that has now racked up almost one million views on social media, the dog owner was seen kneeling on the floor whilst wearing a blue poo bag over her hand.
With clothes draped over her shoulder and her pet on a lead, the brunette woman attempted to pick up three large piles of her dog’s mess.
But as the bargain hunter, who looked chic in a navy coat, strived to pick up her dog’s mess, it simply resulted in three large smears left on the shop floor.
Shoppers were seen walking past the woman and her pooch, avoiding and narrowly missing the animal’s stool.
A bystander named Elaine Leydon recorded the scene and shared the clip online, leaving many stunned.
Alongside the now viral video, Elaine wrote ‘When your dog takes a poo in Primark’ alongside the cheeky monkey emoji.
Clearly stunned by the shocking situation, the content creator, who is from Ireland, zoomed in on the dog’s faeces and questioned: ‘Why do people bring their dogs into shops?”
Elaine then confirmed that she captured the footage whilst on holiday in Milan, Italy.
Later in the short video, the dog owner was seen holding the full poo bag, whilst fellow Primark shoppers gathered in shock.
Eventually, a Primark employee got involved and stood just centimetres away from the dog’s mess, to ensure it wasn’t spread or didn’t cause any accidents.
Elaine noticed that the pooch, which appeared to be a Goldendoodle, even appeared to be somewhat red-faced by the public blunder, as she wrote: ‘He looks embarrassed.’
The viral TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @elcreate, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed over 6,300 likes and more than 6,000 shares.
Many were shocked at ‘the audacity’ of the owner and eagerly flocked to the comments to express their disgust.
One person said: “As a dog owner, I don’t get this new thing of taking your dog EVERYWHERE! Why do people feel so entitled to take them into shops & restaurants?”
It’s unfair, the shop assistants have to clean that now
TikTok user
Another added: “Vile, how thick can a person be?”
A third commented: “It’s unfair, the shop assistants have to clean that now.”
Someone else chimed in: “Honestly my dogs are my life, I love them to pieces, but it’s so unhygienic taking them in shops! I honestly don’t think it should be allowed unless they are a guide/therapy dog.”
Ria Mitchell, who once admitted to spending £8,000 in Primark in a just one year has fallen out of love with the iconic high street retailer.
She told Fabulous why she no longer visits her local store every Saturday.
“I never go there,” says the 28-year-old from Guildford, Surrey.
“It’s mad charging £50 for a coat. Primark shoppers want bargains.
“They don’t want to be charged £50 for a coat or a fancy cardigan. That was always the best thing about it.
“But now it’s so expensive, why would I go there?
“Just look at pictures of my grey coat from three years ago — it was £25. And look now — charging £50 for a coat is silly. Pri-flation is real.”
Primark’s ethos has always been affordability, from essentials to standout pieces.
The reason it has continued to buck the trend for failing high street stores is because it has kept its prices low.
Twenty years ago, you could always get an entire outfit there for under £30. Fast-forward to now, and we’re in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis and are still after the same thing. In fact, we want more.
Meanwhile, a fifth questioned: “Isn’t Primark not dog friendly? I’ve never seen dogs in any Primark at all.”
To this, the content creator replied and confirmed: “I haven’t either, this was in Milan.”
Not only this, but another user wondered: “Is she not going to wipe and disinfect the floor?”
In response, Elaine explained: “No she didn’t have anything.”
But amongst the shock, one user attempted to sympathise with the pet owner and wrote: “It’s the new thing now with people bringing dogs into shops there called emotional support dogs.”
But to this, Elaine claimed: “I don’t think this was an emotional support dog”.
Inside the Traitors host Claudia Winkleman’s beauty secrets – from £4 buy for shiny hair to bizarre hack to better sleep
SINCE Claudia Winkleman hit our TV screens in the 90s we’ve been hooked on her ever since.
And the Traitors host is almost as well known for her signature style as for her presenting skills.
Claudia in 2010 still had her signature fringe, messy eyeliner and pale lips[/caption]With a heavy block fringe, dark liner and glowing skin, the 53-year-old looks like she has barely aged in the past few decades.
Here, Fabulous looks at how she gets her signature look – from her favourite shampoo for shiny hair to the bizarre hack she swears by for a better night’s sleep.
SKIN WIN
The Traitors host always looks amazing, and now you can to as she share her favourite skincare product.
Claudia’s skin always has a natural glow and she says it’s all down to one skincare product.
She told Get the Gloss: “I am extremely keen on Skin Food by Weleda.”
She beamed: “It does what it promises. My skin inhales it.”
The cream can be used overnight as a treatment or during the day as a moisturiser.
You’ll be pleased to know it’s super affordable too costing just £2.99 from Holland & Barrett.
HAIR WE GO
The one thing we always obsess over when we think of Claudia Winkleman is her sleek and shiny hair.
“The best thing about The Traitors is how shiny Claudia’s hair is,” one person wrote on X.
“It’s like a goddam mirror!”
“I want to know how she gets it so shiny and manages to keep it that way,” another mused.
Claudia herself admits her hair is her ‘thing’ and has shared how she keeps it ‘shinier than a unicorn.’
“There’s only one shampoo worth talking about,” she previously told Closer Online.
“I don’t use anything other than Head & Shoulders, nothing on Earth makes my hair shiny quite like it.
“I adore it.”
The shampoo costs just £4 from Amazon, of which Claudia is the face of.
“When Head and Shoulders got in touch and asked to work with me I thought ‘listen love, you’ve got the wrong person here, I am not a man and I don’t have dandruff,’ and put the phone down,” she told Hello!.
“But then they told me that they had this new formula that makes hair really shiny and they sent it to me and I used it religiously for three months, in fact the whole family did, and it works.
“I’m not just saying this – my hair has never been shinier or glossier.”

Claudia’s tan never fails her whether it’s the summer or winter months.
And she swears by Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads (£39), as she told Grazia: “One swipe and you will faint and openly weep. And we all know I like to be orange.
“But trust me when I say it won’t make you orange – just a sweep will make it look like you’ve eaten outside on a sunny day.”
She’s also admitted to using Bisto craving and tea bags in a pinch for some added colour to her face.
For her body, Claudia often gets a spray tan but if she is left to her own devices uses Dove self-tanner.
Claudia Winkleman's career so far
Holiday (1992–1996): Claudia started her TV career as a travel show presenter, delivering segments from exotic locations.
Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two (2004–2010): Although she worked on a few shows between Holiday and Strictly, Claudia really came into her own as a presenter on this spin-off, where she could be seen offering behind-the-scenes gossip and interviewing contestants. She hosted It Takes Two from its inception until Zoe Ball took over from her in 2011.
Strictly Come Dancing (2014–present): After Sir Bruce Forsyth left the BBC show due to health concerns, Claudia joined Tess Daly as a co-host of the main show. This is one of the jobs Claudia is best known for.
Film 2010 (2010–2016): Claudia succeeded Jonathan Ross as the host of the BBC’s flagship film review show in 2010. She was praised by The Guardian for being a “passionate and engaging advocate of cinema” in this role.
The Great British Sewing Bee (2013–2016): Claudia brought her wit to the crafting competition for three years.
The Traitors (2022-present): Claudia’s dark hair and resting mysterious face have become synonymous with this hit reality show. Despite her attempts to leave after the first series in case future seasons flopped, BBC bosses were determined to keep her on, so it seems unlikely she’ll stop heading up the show anytime soon.
SLEEPING BEAUTY
While Claudia has her staple products to get her signature look, she isn’t as fussed about removing them.
She even claims that not taking her make-up off helps her get a better nights sleep.
‘I’ve never ever taken it off before bed,’ she insisted to The Express.
“I take it off the next morning with my nifty Boots No7 gel which comes in a tube. Fantastic – don’t have to deal with pot opening. But no, I sleep in it. I have more fun in my dream.’
WALK IT OFF
Claudia has a slim figure which might make you think she sticks to a grueling workout routine.
In reality, she couldn’t be more opposed to it.
Claudia revealed on Gabby Logan’s podcast The Mid•Point: “I don’t like physical exertion of any kind.”
She revealed to Marie Claire that she got really into walking during lockdown as living without a garden forced her and her family to get their fresh air by walking around London – dubbing their newfound hobby ‘urban walking’.
While guest starring on The Mid•Point, she told Gabi about her reformer pilates class: “It’s round the corner from me, so I can go there and everybody is lovely – it’s super quiet.”
But it’s a hobby she takes very casually: “They talk to me about parts of my body and say things like, ‘The problem is you’ve never used your lats,’ and I’m like, ‘What’s that?'”
