Family ‘concerned for wellbeing’ of missing man, 27, last seen 11 days ago as Gardai plea for public assistance
GARDAI have issued an urgent plea for the public’s help in a bid to find a missing man – who hasn’t been seen for nearly two weeks.
Luke Price was reported missing from his home in Mountkennet, Limerick City on January 14.
The 27-year-old was last seen at approximately 9pm on Tuesday evening, January 14.
The man has been described as approximately 6ft in height with a slim build.
And Luke has auburn hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black boots.
Cops said that his family are “concerned for his well-being”.
They are appealing to anyone with information on Luke’s whereabouts to contact them.
A garda spokesperson said: “Anyone with information on Luke’s whereabouts is asked to contact Henry Street Garda Station on 061 212 400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
Separately, Gardai has issued an urgent appeal in the search of Hanni Binti Hanif, who hasn’t contacted her family since last year.
The 25-year-old was reported missing in Cork City last Sunday – and her family are “concerned for wellbeing”.
Gardai are seeking the public’s help in locating the 25-year-old who was last in contact with her family in Malaysia in December 2024.
Her family have not heard from her since then and there has been no other forms of communication made by Hanni.
This has left her family deeply “concerned for her wellbeing”, and prompted Gardai to launch an investigation into her whereabouts.
Originally from Malaysia, Hanni is described as being around 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
She is a student at Griffith College Cork, and her last known address is in Cork city.
And authorities are hoping someone in the public may have information that could help track her down.
URGENT INFO PLEA
Gardai are now asking anyone who has seen Hanni or knows where she may be to get in touch with Anglesea Street Garda Station in Cork city.
Alternatively, the Garda Confidential Line is also available – and individuals can contact any Garda station with relevant information.
Along with the appeal made by cops, the Malaysian Embassy in Dublin has issued an alert for the missing woman.
In a statement, the Embassy of Malaysia in Dublin said: “The Embassy of Malaysia in Dublin seeks the cooperation of Malaysians in Ireland who are acquainted with Miss Hanni Binti Hanif, whose last known address is in County Cork and who was previously a student at Griffith College Cork.
“Kindly contact the Embassy of Malaysia in Dublin at +353 (01) 6677280 or the Duty Officer at +353 (85) 1600096. Embassy of Malaysia, Dublin, Ireland.”
