Strictly’s Janette Manara spends quality time with her husband Aljaz after Wynne Evans’ shock sexual jibe
STRICTLY’s Janette Manrara spent quality time with her husband Aljaz following Wynne Evans’ vile sexual comments.
The opera singer let slip the shock remark at the start of the Strictly live tour shows.

On Instagram, the It Takes Two host revealed she was spending quality time with husband Aljaz Skorjanec.
She shared a clip of their daughter Lyra sitting on Aljaz’s knee in a Glasgow hotel restaurant.
Later on, Janette dressed for cold weather in a black winter hat along with a long sleeved striped jumper.
The dancer turned presenter had been in Glasgow through her role as host of the Strictly tour.
Aljaz was spotted carrying two large suitcases out of their hotel as the tour’s cast head to Liverpool for two shows.
Wynne likewise exited the hotel and made his way to a waiting car.
The Welsh vocalist wore jeans and a black coat as he passed fans outside.
The BBC Wales presenter, 52, is thought to be “hanging onto” his day-job after the derogatory remark came to light.
It came at a photocall to launch the Strictly live tour, when the Go Compare singer reportedly made a suggestive face at actor Jamie Borthwick as Janette moved between them — which is when he allegedly made the joke.
An image shows Wynne, wearing a blue top, glancing over his right shoulder at Janette, who can be seen standing next to him gazing at the floor.
He has since issued an apology and told The Mail on Sunday: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.”
In addition, Wynne had shared images of his bruised ankle in a story on Instagram after his injury threw preparations for the live show into chaos.
Wynne Evans' Strictly scandals
‘Grope’
Wynne encountered a backlash after his Strictly pro partner Katya was filmed removing his hand from her waist.
Fans insisted she looked uncomfortable as she moved it away – but Katya later insisted there was no problem.
In joke
They then sparked further fury, when she was seen refusing to high-five the Opera singer.
The duo were quick to issue a video apology and insisted it was all an innocent “inside joke”.
Crude joke
Wynne came under fire for allegedly telling a “crude” joke to one of the show’s make-up artists.
Insiders claim the opera star made a joke that the folds of his double chin “looked like a vagina”.
A source said: “It was a bit of a vulgar dad joke.”
Vile comment
Wynne was recorded suggesting a three-way sex session with presenter Janette Manrara, using the term “spit roast”.
His remark came at a photocall to launch the Strictly live tour, which pro Janette, 41, is hosting.
He reportedly pulled a suggestive face at actor Jamie Borthwick as Janette moved between them — which is when Evans allegedly made the joke.
Wynne has apologised saying: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.”
In a video posted on the social media site on Saturday evening, he said: “Ankle’s getting a bit better, it was great to be able to sing in Glasgow tonight, even if I couldn’t dance, hopefully back tomorrow.
“But watch this space, I’ll let you know in the morning. See how the swelling goes down, and all that kind of stuff, thanks for all the lovely messages, amazing.”
BBC and Strictly Live producers said: “We have made it clear to Wynne we do not tolerate such behaviour on tour.”
Janette’s spokeswoman said she had been “unaware of this comment.”

DEAR DEIDRE: MY husband went out on our wedding anniversary leaving me at home with our baby daughter.
He came home steaming drunk then just went straight to bed.
I am 27 and my husband is 30. We have been together for five years.
Our longed-for daughter was born six months ago but it was a traumatic birth ending with emergency surgery and I took many weeks to recover. Even now I have the odd flashback.
I was also quite depressed but instead of supporting me, my husband was unsympathetic and even irritated with both me and our daughter.
If she woke in the night he would shout at me and tell me to stop her crying. I was so stressed.
My mum came to stay for a couple of weeks when I returned home from hospital but all my husband did was shout at her, accusing her of meddling.
My in-laws are no better. They criticise how I look after our daughter.
I don’t want her to come from a broken home like I did but our baby’s birth seems to have brought out the worst in us as a couple.

You are exhausted through sleep deprivation but rest assured this stage doesn’t last forever.
Critical grandparents who think they know best make things worse.
Your lives are changing but it’s important you talk it out. Both of you will recall the way you were parented, which can bring up painful feelings.

Ange Postecoglou gives Tottenham fan death stare in tense tunnel confrontation after Leicester defeat
ANGE POSTECOGLOU dished out a death stare in another chilling exchange with a Tottenham fan.
The Aussie boss even walked BACK to the tunnel confrontation after Leicester inflicted Spurs’ sixth defeat in seven Premier League games.
Just last month Postecoglou was guided away from visiting fans following a heated clash of words after a 1-0 loss at Bournemouth.
And this time he faced a torrent of criticism from above the tunnel – amid boos for his team – after Leicester’s 2-1 win at the King Power Stadium.
One supporter bawled: “You’re taking us down.. we’re going down with you.”
Postecoglou initially continued striding towards the changing rooms.
But astonishingly he backtracked and glared towards the fan.
However, a club official appeared to point him inside again.
And the 59-year-old then heeded that advice as he headed out of view again.
Supporters who saw the incident labelled Postecoglou an “embarrassment” for seemingly considering a heated encounter with the fan.

One viewer posted: “Who does he think he is? We’re 15th in the league. Walk in those changing rooms before you get battered.”
Another said: “This is a recurring issue with him, it seems to be every game he squares up to fans who are rightly frustrated.”
And a third wrote: “The guy’s just lost his 13th league game of the season against a crap team at home and steps back as if he’s gonna do something…what an embarrassment!”
Postecoglou said of Saturday’s defeat: “It hurts a lot.
“The players gave everything again. We are going to look at a lot of things, but in terms of effort I can’t ask anymore of this group, things just didn’t go our way today.”
And he insisted: “I know it will turn. We’ll get some players back, we were short again today but in the next couple of weeks there’s some really important players coming back that I know will help this group.”
I’m worried of a huge family feud if anyone discovers I’m sleeping with my uncle’s girlfriend
DEAR DEIDRE: THE sex I’m having with my uncle’s girlfriend is simply awesome but it is putting a strain on me because I’m worried that there will be a huge family feud if our secret gets out.
My uncle is my mum’s brother. He is divorced, having split up with his wife when she discovered he was cheating on her.
I’m a 26-year-old single man. My uncle’s 36 and his girlfriend is 32.
I live at home and she called round one evening because she wanted to talk to my mum.
My mum was out for the night but I could see she was at a loose end so I invited her in.
She seemed upset and opened up about her work stresses.
Then she confided that she was going through a bad patch with my uncle. I’ve always thought she was sexy, so when she cuddled up to me I was over the moon.
She said she wished my uncle was as considerate and caring. She seemed so sad and as we chatted I realised how much I liked her.
She then told me that she had always liked me.
She has an amazing body and we ended up having sex there and then.
It was the best experience ever, but straight after we both became awkward as the realisation of what we’d done set in. We were also aware my mum could be back at any moment.
Since that evening, she has told my mum that she is separating from my uncle. She found out he was cheating on her and apparently they haven’t had sex in months.
Since that first time, we’ve met often for romps in secret.
My family would never accept us being together. I love her but I think I’m out of my depth.
MORE FROM DEAR DEIDRE
DEIDRE SAYS: Yes you are. There’s little chance of a future together no matter how good the sex is.
If you were found out, the fall-out would be devastating for you and your family.
End it now because the longer this continues the more attached you’ll be.
There is nothing in it for you in the long term. You will tire of being her secret, so end it before you are discovered.
Tell her that she needs to resolve her relationship one way or the other and she can only do this when she is not preoccupied with you.
My support pack Your Lover Not Free? will help you think about this rationally.

Horror Hojlund and Zirkzee stats should convince Amorim to throw Rashford a lifeline if attacker ends up staying
RUBEN AMORIM may be convinced to throw Marcus Rashford a lifeline after witnessing abysmal performances from Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee at Fulham.
Stats show that the Manchester United pair had a night to forget despite Amorim’s side taking home all three points.
Rasmus Hojlund had a game to forget against Fulham[/caption] Joshua Zirkzee also failed to impress as Man Utd won 1-0[/caption] Ruben Amorim may be tempted to recall Marcus Rashford to lead his line[/caption]Lisandro Martinez’s deflected shot was enough to seal victory at Craven Cottage.
But on the back of tonight, Amorim may likely be tempted to give Rashford another go up top despite the England star being linked with a January exit.
Danish striker Hojlund started the game in west London with an immediate red flag over his head.
The former Atalanta star has played in 48 Premier League games since his £64million move in 2023.
But he hasn’t scored in 36 of those matches — virtually an entire top-flight season.
And Hojlund’s latest outing did not prove to be different as he again failed to net.
Indeed, he didn’t have one single shot at goal on the night.
Hojlund only managed 17 touches of the ball too — with just ONE of them in Fulham’s penalty area.

And his passing fared little better too, with the forward completing six of just eight being before hauled off in the 58th minute.
Hojlund was replaced by fellow hitman Zirkzee, who has failed to impress since his £36.5m summer move from Bologna.
The Dutchman has just three league goals so far this term and, like Rashford, has also been linked with an exit.
But he is yet to be axed from Amorim’s squad and so was given another chance to prove doubters wrong tonight.
However, Zirkzee arguably had a worse game than Hojlund.
He too had zero shots at goal, therefore failing to score.
Unlike Hojlund though, Zirkzee didn’t even muster one single touch in Fulham’s box.
And despite being regarded as the more technical of the two, Zirkzee managed just five passes all game — with one of them failing to reach its target.
Amorim is sure to be scratching his head as he searches for a solution up top.
Rashford is the closest thing he has to a third striker.
And if the Englishman fails to secure a dream move to Barcelona, he may yet end up leading the line for the remainder of the season.
Rashford has also been strongly linked with a move to AC Milan.
While Aston Villa have been tipped as potential late suitors in the window.
‘Mortifying’ – Ireland AM star Elaine Crowley gutted to be second celeb axed from RTE DWTS as judges left wanting ‘more’
IRELAND AM presenter Elaine Crowley became the second celeb eliminated from Dancing With The Stars tonight.
The TV host admitted she was gutted not to have lasted until Dedication Week next Sunday.
Elaine told The Irish Sun: “Yes, I got kicked out of Dancing With The Stars second, which is a bit mortifying to be honest. But on the other hand, nothing serious happened.
“You just have to put it into perspective. It would have been lovely to stay dancing but it’s more a TV show than a dance competition.”
The 47-year-old also revealed the touching reason she had wanted to be in Dedication Week.
The Virgin Media star lost her nephew Ultan, 11, in 2023 after a short battle with cancer and had planned to invite his family to be in the audience.
Elaine said: “I was going to do it for my nephews because they have had a rough enough time. So I wanted to dance and bring them up to watch the show and dance in front of them. But you know, it wasn’t to be.”
She revealed she may have had an inkling that she would leave after “a shaky day” yesterday doing rehearsals.
Earlier, Elaine Crowley and her pro Denys Samson had scored 18 points for her jive to the song You Can’t Stop The Beat from movie Hairspray.
Brian told them: “That was really interesting to watch. After last week’s dance, I can see your confidence is coming back step by step. It needed more bounce but you’ve bounced back.”
Karen Byrne told them: “It needed a little bit more attack, but the real question is who’s using more hairspray, you or Denys?”
Arthur Gourounlian added: “No pain, no gain. Your arms were beautiful and so was your face. You didn’t give. Well done.”
It was Movie Week on Dancing With The Stars tonight, with the celebs transformed into characters from popular movies.
Opening the show, former Miss Universe Ireland, Aishah Akorede, landed 24 points for a Sister Act-inspired cha-cha-cha to Rescue Me by Fontella Bass with her partner Robert Rowiński.
Judge Karen Byrne told them: “You don’t need any rescuing tonight. What an opener!”
Arthur Gourounlian said: “You took the whole audience to the chapel.”
Brian Redmond added: “Mother Superior will be delighted.”
Gearóid Farrelly dressed up as The Artful Dodger from movie Oliver to lift partner Stephen Vincent during his American Smooth, which won them 22 points.
Brian said: “You have issues with your feet, but it’s your only Achilles heel. Please sir, can I have some more?”
Arthur said: “The jump was effortless my jaw dropped you keep surprising me.”
‘BIT SKITTISH’
Lip syncer Kayleigh Trappe quickstepped as a cat lady to the title track from Disney classic The Aristocats.
Brian said: “You were like a cat on a hot tin roof. Bit skittish, but you should be ‘feline’ a lot happier with yourself.”
Arthur added: “Your feet were so fast.”
Kayleigh scored 21 points.
Taekwondo star Jack Woolley and his pro dancer Alex Vladimirov dressed up as supervillains The Joker and Harley Quinn for a tango to last year’s Joker: Folie à Deux.
But Brian wasn’t impressed. He said: “That performance has inspired the bad guy inside me, it was not quite as good as I was hoping.”
Jack and Alex scored 23 points.
Meteorologist Joanna Donnelly had pals in the studio audience from Met Eireann to see her do a quickstep as Mrs Robinson from movie The Graduate.
GLITTERBALL STARS - ALL THE DWTS WINNERS
SERIES ONE – 2017: Former Kerry footballer Aidan O’Mahony beat the odds to be crowned Ireland’s first-ever Dancing With The Stars champion alongside pro partner Valeria Milova, beating out former Fair City star Aoibhin Garrihy and Red Rock actress Denise McCormack.
SERIES TWO – 2018: Singer Jake Carter – the younger brother of country crooner Nathan – was just 19 when he nabbed the Glitterball in 2018 with pro dancer Karen Byrne. And the dance partnership later blossomed into love for the popular pair, who confirmed they were dating months after their big win.

Brian said: “You danced to a song from The Graduate but you don’t have an honours degree in dance yet.”
Arthur said: “Your upper body was in position and your lower body was living its best life, so you have work to do”
Joanna scored 17 points.
Mrs Brown’s Boys actor Danny O’Carroll was dressed up like Paul Mescal in Gladiator II, donning a black pleated roman kilt for his pasodoble with partner Salome Chachua.
Brian said: “This performance puts you right back on the red carpet.”

Arthur said: “You embodied the character of Moana.”
Yasmin and Simone scored 26 points.
‘SOMETHING CLICKED IN YOU TONIGHT’
Chef Kevin Dundon donned a latex green head to jive as Shrek, but couldn’t disguise his bad dancing.
Brian said: “That jive was more donkey than Shrek.”
Arthur said: “You brought joy to movie week.”
Kevin scored eight points.
Olympian Rhys McClenaghan got a standing ovation from the judges when he danced as Spider-Man in a webbed red and blue body suit with partner Laura Nolan.
Brian said: “It’s an absolute honour to watch a gold medal Olympian with his ever improving dance skills.”
Arthur, awarding them the first 10 this season, said: “Rhys, something clicked in you tonight. You really connected. Love it.”
Rhys landed 29 points and ended the night at the top of the scoreboard.
