‘Funniest thing I’ve seen’ – Fans spot Arsenal star Leandro Trossard’s 6-word comment about Michael Oliver to Wolves ace

ARSENAL fans think they’ve spotted Leandro Trossard making a “hilarious” comment about referee Michael Oliver during the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Wolves on Saturday.

Oliver has been the subject of much chatter since the match after controversially sending off Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly.

But it was his first yellow card to Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes that had Trossard passing comment on the Premier League official.

Gomes, who was ultimately sent off for a second yellow card offence in the second half, was booked for delaying the restart in the first half.

And Arsenal star Trossard was quick to try and intervene while the Brazilian protested his innocence to Micheal Oliver.

Gomes was hoping to talk his way out of the booking, but Trossard reminded the 23-year-old that he had suffered the same fate against Man City earlier in the season.

A clip of the Belgian forward appeared to show him saying to Gomes: “That’s what he did to me”.

Trossard was sent off against Man City back in September after receiving a second yellow card for delaying the restart.

Arsenal fans were loving their star’s hark back to the 2-2 draw and reacted on social media.

One wrote: “Funniest thing I’ve seen today”.

While another added: “Trossard is low-key hilarious”.

A third joked: “He said, ‘welcome to the club bro’.”

And a fourth posted: “I’m still laughing at this clip the next day”.

Oliver would later send off 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly for a trip some 90-yards from the Arsenal box, sparking fury from former players and pundits across the football world.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta claimed he was “fuming” about the decision, but remained calm enough to suggest that he won’t be complaining.

Arteta told reporters that he hopes that an appeal won’t even be necessary and that the PGMOL will overturn the decision themselves as they did with Bruno Fernandes’ red card against Tottenham earlier in the season.

Ian Wright claimed that the refereeing in the Premier League is “nowhere near it” in a video on social media.

While Match of the Day host Mark Chapman claimed the red card was “baffling and nonsensical from supposedly one of our best referees”.

Alan Shearer blasted it as “one of the worst decisions I’ve seen in a long time”

He said: “As a referee, you can get it wrong on the pitch, you might see something which is incorrect.

“How on earth Darren England, the VAR, thinks that the referee has got that right and there is no need to send him to the screen is beyond me.

MARK HALSEY: Questions have to be asked of VAR after Lewis-Skelly sending off... here's what SHOULD have happened

By Mark Halsey

VAR Darren England should have recommended a review as soon as referee Michael Oliver showed Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly a straight red card for his challenge on Wolves’ Matt Doherty.

An official has to decide whether the challenge was careless or reckless — careless is a free-kick only, reckless is a yellow card — or worthy of a red card.

When a player lunges at an opponent with one or two feet from the front, the side or from the back which endangers the player’s safety with excess force or/and brutality, it must be sanctioned with a red.

I saw it as a reckless challenge worthy of a yellow, not a red.

So why did Darren not recommend a review? Once the red card was shown, the VAR should have intervened.

If Michael had the opportunity to view the challenge again, I’m sure he would have changed his mind, cancelled the red card and issued a yellow.

As for Arsenal fans’ views that Michael is biased against them, I’m not buying into that. You can never question the integrity of a match official and Michael is one of our best referees.

Officials cannot get everything right and that is why we have VAR to help. So questions have to be asked of Darren.

With the second yellow for Joao Gomes after catching Jurrien Timber on the ankle, you could argue that was a worse challenge than the Lewis-Skelly one.

“I just cannot see and work out what VAR is thinking going along with Michael Oliver’s decision. No wonder it gets criticised by so many people.”

And BBC Five Live pundit Pat Nevin said labelling such a challenge serious foul play was setting “a bar so low even a limbo dancing snake couldn’t get under it”.

Even ex-Tottenham star Jamie O’Hara said: “I’m all for Arsenal having a beast but that is never ever a red card, one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen. Jheez lol”.

While the comments on social media from fans went too far, with the PGMOL releasing a statement revealing Oliver had been subject to death threats and “abhorrent abuse”.

It read: “We are appalled by the threats and abuse directed at Michael Oliver following the Wolverhampton Wanderers v Arsenal fixture.

“No official should be subject to any form of abuse, let alone the abhorrent attacks aimed at Michael and his family over the past 24 hours.

“The police are aware, and a number of investigations have commenced. We are supporting Michael, and all those affected, and are determined to tackle this unacceptable behaviour.

“Sadly, this is not the first time a match official has been forced to deal with threats in recent times.

“We will continue to support all investigations.”

Arsenal legend Ian Wright hits out at Myles Lewis Skelly red card decision

IAN WRIGHT has joined the long-list of former professionals and pundits to be left reeling by the decision to send off Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly on Saturday.

The cynical challenge left most fans expecting a yellow card, but the Hale End graduate was shown red by referee Michael Oliver instead.

Leandro TrossardKai Havertz and Gabriel Magalhaes led the on-field protests as Arsenal’s players showed their frustration at the decision.

And now Gunners icon Ian Wright has weighed in on the incident, claiming that it’s “never a red”.

In a video posted on social media by the former Premier Legue bagsman, he fumed: “It’s a joke!

“Anyone that has ever played the game, and I’m not even talking Premier League, I’m talking five-a-side, Sunday league, knows that it’s never a red.

“Yellow card, nobody says a word. Time and time again, this level of refereeing [and] the decisions in the Premier League… the inconsistency, the excuses, the apologies.

“All of them are just the centre of attention for me. We can’t criticise too hard because, where are the refs going to come from? Where are we going to get them?

“But I’m sorry, this is the highest level of football and we do not have the highest level of referees. When will the Premier League bring the best refs into the so called ‘best league in the world’?

“Because at the moment, with this level of refereeing, we’re nowhere near it. Nowhere near it.”

Met Office map reveals Storm Herminia’s wrath with 80mph wind and flash floods after deadly Eowyn’s carnage

A MET Office map reveals Storm Herminia’s wrath with 80mph wind and flash floods rampaging across the UK.

The latest named storm comes after Eowyn killed two people over the weekend and caused major disruption, with some Brits warned to stay indoors.

The national forecaster says the next few days look “set to remain very unsettled”.

An interactive map shows a blanket of rain drenching much of the UK over the next few hours.

WARNINGS

A series of yellow warnings for wind and rain have been issued for large parts of England and Wales with more than 40 flood warnings in place.

Parts of Wales and central, southern and northern England are under a 24-hour warning for strong and gusty winds from the same time.

A warning for periods of heavy rain that could cause some flooding of roads and properties was in place for the West Midlands and most of Wales until 11.59pm on Monday with the Met Office predicting 20mm to 40mm to fall quite widely and 50mm to 70mm on higher ground.

Okehampton in Devon had 35.8mm of rain on Sunday, while an 83mph gust was recorded in Berry Head, south Devon, and 81mph in Capelcurig, North Wales.

A yellow wind warning was in place until 7am on Monday for large parts of southern England, the North West, the West Midlands and Yorkshire.

Flooding saw stretches of the A36 and A303 closed in Devon and Wiltshire overnight, while National Rail said services were running normally between Taunton and Castle Cary after flooding.

Most of the 40 flood warnings, where flooding is expected, issued by the Environment Agency cover the south west and south coast, the two warnings issued by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

Scotland is recovering from the effects of Storm Eowyn.

ScotRail said engineers had made “great progress” in removing debris and repairing damage, but several lines were unlikely to reopen for the start of services on Monday.

The Largs to Adrossan line will not reopen on Monday after an overhead gantry was brough down by a falling tree.

Avanti West Coast said services to and from Glasgow and Edinburgh had resumed, but warned of late starts and possible delays on Scottish routes.

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks said around 74,000 customers remained without power at the end of Sunday following Storm Eowyn, while the Northern Powergrid said teams were working to reconnect more than 150 customers overnight.

Ben Lukey, a flood duty manager at the Environment Agency, said: “Although not expected, impacts could include localised flooding from watercourses, drains, channels and flooding from overland flow.

A wet and windy spell arrived in the South West on Sunday morning and was moving across the north of the UK overnight.

Met Office meteorologist Marco Petagna said: “Things are going to stay unsettled in the next few days. We’re getting successive spells of wet and windy weather, which is obviously adding to impacts

While not as powerful as Storm Eowyn, a low-pressure system was named Storm Herminia by meteorologists in Spain which was expected to feel the strongest winds.

5-day weather forecast

Today:

Showers or longer spells of rain across most areas. Showers turning heavy at times in the south with a chance of thunder, plus hill snow in the north. Strong, gale-force winds continuing in the south, and temperatures around average.

Tonight:

Showers and longer spells of rain continue overnight. Gales in the southwest slowly easing, but winds picking up in the far north. A patchy frost forming in the northwest.

Tuesday:

Further heavy showers in the south with a risk of thunder. Longer spells of rain in the northwest, but easing later. Strong winds at first, and temperatures around average.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Remaining wet and windy in the south on Wednesday. Becoming more settled for all on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures near the seasonal average, but chilly at night.

Horrified Vicky Pattison reveals she found real deepfake porn of herself online while making new documentary

SHOCKED Vicky Pattison has discovered she has been a victim of real image-based sexual abuse – just days after she leaked her own fake sex tape as part of a documentary.

In a horrifying twist of fate, the real, dark content was found in filming the final scenes for her Channel 4 investigation.

It comes just days after she leaked her own fake sex tape as part of a documentary[/caption]

For the show, Vicky Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tape, the TV personality worked with actors to create a clip of hyper-realistic, deepfake porn featuring her image to fully understand the impact of image-based abuse.

She released it online last Sunday and filmed the fallout for the final scenes of the documentary.

But during an important educational segment about how to remove content, “takedown” experts discovered other graphic content as well as the fake tape.

Shocked Vicky, 37, told The Sun: “I say in the pre-titles of the documentary that I myself have been a victim of sexually explicit, misogynistic abuse online.

“Throughout this documentary, we actually realised that there’s content of me online that I was not entirely aware of.

“It’s not AI generated but it is dark in content.”

Vicky took the incredibly brave step to consensually create a deepfake tape to throw a spotlight on the problem of deepfake porn because she cares deeply about the rising problem and attacks on women.

The 45 second clip appeared to show Vicky engaged in a sex act first wearing a bra and then later, topless.

In scenes that will air as part of the hard-hitting, immersive documentary, she then worked with a takedown company, who used AI software to “scrape” the internet to find and remove the fake tape.

The technology found 1,700 results about Vicky which threw up deeply concerning content.

Anonymous web users had uploaded images and video clips of them pleasuring themselves over bikini pictures of Vicky.

If she had been naked in these images – whether real or deepfaked – this would be a criminal offence.

If they had been sent directly to her, this would be a sexual offence.

But because she is clothed and the pictures were taken consensually, no crime has been committed in sharing this content online.

However, it is another sick move that falls under the definition of “image-based abuse”.

Other sites included posts about Vicky on forums where men requested if anyone had real leaks.

A third type of content was found on sites known as Explicit Content Aggregators, who had bikini pictures of Vicky alongside links to click through to sick apps where AI could “undress” the images.

These platforms are something Vicky investigates herself earlier in the documentary – bravely putting a snap from her hen do into the app to see how it worked.

Vicky said: “I can’t compare my experience to what the victims of this go through, I really can’t.

“My heart goes out to the victims of this and I in no way want to diminish that.”

Last week Vicky was criticised for the decision to make her deepfake tape for the project.

It left the I’m A Celebrity winner in bits – because the horrifying rise in attacks of women is something she cares deeply about.

Speaking for the first time about the project, Vicky told the Sun: “It isn’t a decision I made lightly, and it is one that I struggled with right until the end. Like right until Sunday night [when she posted it], I struggled with, was I doing the right thing, you know?

“I completely understand that some people might be angry and upset about what we’ve done and I in no way want to diminish that.

“I would never want to trivialise victims’ feelings.

“I had the privilege of speaking to brave survivors and a lot of them felt like creating the deepfake sex tape was a bold way to shine a much-needed spotlight on the issue.

“My goal with this documentary is to foster empathy and drive action, and to contribute to a larger movement for justice and change, so victims feel supported, understood and empowered to reclaim their voices and control.

“This form of abuse, it’s not slowing down. If anything, it’s just finding its feet.

“I’ve made my peace with the way we’ve chosen to tackle this problem.”

And he said further forecast rain is giving him a huge headache, just as the season really hots up.

Fortunately his famous hill gallop is OK to use but the rest of his base is totally out of action.

The Betfair ambassador, speaking on his Ditcheat Diaries series, said: “Honestly, it was biblical rain yesterday and I’ve never in 33 years of being here seen weather like it, the amount of rain.

“Our hill gallop is fine but our loops and flat gallop are literally underwater.

“You’ve never seen water like it.

“But we haven’t been able to assess the full damage yet because we can’t get on there.

“But I’ve never had water on the gallops, let alone what we saw yesterday, we can’t believe it.

“The damage water does is absolutely incredible.

“We’ve been able to school horses as normal on the hill gallop but it’s not good elsewhere.

“This is a huge amount of damage we’ll have to put right during the week.

“It’s not ideal and there’s a lot more rain forecast.”

More to follow.

Lily Phillips’ followers fear she’s gone too far & needs ‘sectioning’ over disturbing new event to one-up Bonnie Blue

LILY Phillips has sparked concern from followers that she’s gone too far after announcing a disturbing new event.

The 23-year-old has been battling Bonnie Blue in a bid to be named the UK’s top adult creator.

Woman asks if Lily Phillips should be sectioned.
And now social media users like Charlotte are concerned the new event is a “cry for help”
Tiktok/@bradsara_club

But when Bonnie allegedly broke the record for sleeping with the most amount of men in 12 hours, after apparently bedding 1,057, Lily knew she’d have to do something different.

So she came up with a new way to top Bonnie’s “achievement”, as she invited men to join her in an act too graphic to describe at a new event.

However, many social media fans have been left disturbed by the announcement, with some even labelling it a “cry for help”.

Charlotte was one of those people, as she referred to Bonnie and Lily’s battle as “some kind of weird self-harming competition”.

She continued her TikTok video by saying: “I genuinely think she needs to be sectioned because she’s almost threatening self-harm.

“That’s a really abusive thing to do to yourself.”

Charlotte concluded by insisting she wanted “social services or something” to get in touch with Lily and check on her mental wellbeing.

She added in the video caption: “I feel like it’s a very concerning cry for help.

“I mean most girls that get cheated on will just apply for Love Island, not bed 1000s of men?”

And the comments section was almost immediately filled with hundreds of people agreeing with Charlotte.

“It’s just sad at this point, she’s going to end up getting seriously hurt,” one wrote.

“Plus the mental anguish in years to come will absolutely torture her,” another agreed.

“It’s just awful.”

“Girls can we all agree that she is self harming??” a third questioned.

With someone else replying: “It’s definitely self harming, it’s actually so sad.”

“1000% intervention is needed!” another wrote.

Former porn star shares advice for Lily Phillips

LILY Phillips is a name many of us now know, thanks to her controversial plan to bed 1,000 men in 24 hours.

The OnlyFans star is hoping to break the world record with the endeavour – a record currently held by adult film star Lisa Sparks, with 919 men.

But adult film star Jasmin St. Claire – who’s most famous for having sex with 300 men in 24 hours for X-rated 1996 film The World’s Biggest G**g Bang II – has issued a word of warning to the 23-year-old to ensure she’s regularly tested for sexually transmitted diseases.

“I get a lot of OnlyFans girls on my podcast … and the one common story is all of the different STD outbreaks in the business,” Jasmin explained.

“Like, I’ve never heard of half this stuff in my life. I’m like, holy s**t. Can a doctor from India cure that?

“Like, seriously, because these are some weird things.”

“She legit needs help and her ‘team’ should hang their heads with shame, it looks like exploitation of a vulnerable adult to me,” someone else claimed.

“I feel she is internally screaming for help, it’s quite sad really,” another said.

The concerns about Lily’s next event come after she opened up on a podcast recently, discussing how she feels about her body.

“I don’t really care who I s**g,” Lily began.

“So it’s neither here nor there if it’s someone famous.”

“I don’t get it,” Mommy and Daddy Talk host Bradley Martyn asked.

“You don’t feel like your body is special or important?”

“No,” Lily retorted, adding: “I’m giving my body what it wants!”

When Bradley questioned if she thinks of her body as a “temple”, Lily then replied: “A temple that likes visitors!”

Lily previously opened up about how her job choice affects her mental health in the documentary I Slept With 100 Men in One Day, filmed by Josh Pieters.

That’s a really abusive thing to do to yourself

TikToker Charlotte

As Lily reflected on the extreme experience that saw her sleep with 101 men, she began to break down in tears.

“It’s not for the weak girls, if I’m honest – it was hard,” she said.

“I don’t know if I’d recommend it. It’s a different feeling. It’s just one in one out, it feels intense…

“I’ve got a routine of how we’re going to do this and sometimes you disassociate and it’s not like normal sex at all.

“In my head right now, I can think of like five, six guys, 10 guys that I remember and that’s it.

“But it’s just weird, isn’t it? If I didn’t have the videos, I wouldn’t have known I did 100.”

What your sexual fantasies say about you

By Emma Kenny, a TV presenter and psychologist

Raucous Role Play: If your partner enjoys dressing up for fun, it shows creativity and a desire to keep things exciting. However, it might signal that he struggles with responsibility.

Multi-Partner Fantasies: Craving variety doesn’t always mean he wants to cheat. However, it could indicate deeper feelings of unfulfillment.

Power & Control: A little dominance is normal, but if it’s always about control, it may hide insecurities.

Adventure: Men seeking thrills may push boundaries, so be sure your comfort zone is respected.

Passion: If he’s romantic, he’s emotionally tuned in—though occasionally avoiding tough conversations.

Flexibility: Openness to new experiences is great, but constant novelty-seeking could mean avoiding emotional connection.

Red Flag: If control is his ultimate fantasy, it may signal a deeper struggle with power dynamics.
