NEW BOMBSHELL Danielle Sellers ruffled Ekin-Su’s feathers after she stole Curtis on tonight’s show.

It’s a Love Island first as the two new bombshells – Sammy Root and Danielle – go straight to the Hideaway and invite two Islanders to join them for the first ever Love Island sleepover.

The Islanders received a text and they find out Elma and Curtis have been invited, but they have no idea who they have been invited by.

Ekin-Su was left fuming that the mystery bombshell had picked Curtis – despite them being “closed off”.

Curtis was left speechless, while Elma was thrilled at the prospect of new man entering the villa.

Despite Luca and the girls trying to comfort her, Ekin-Su appeared heartbroken that Curtis would be spending the night with another woman.

After arriving at the Hideaway, Curtis made it clear that he is ‘closed off’.

After hitting it off and having a flirty chat, Elma and Sammy bagged themselves the main bed, and Curtis and Danielle slept outside.

The next morning, Danielle showed Curtis her rings on her hands in bed, which later rubbed Ekin up the wrong way.

They all headed back to the main villa and spilled the beans on their night away.

Elma insisted Curtis was a gent and respectful to Ekin, while Curtis admitted he and Danielle have a “lot of things in common” and he plans on getting to know her more.

But Ekin was keen to clear the air with Danielle after she picked her man – but the newbie informed the her that Curtis didn’t cross any boundaries.

Curtis later explained to Ekin that he made it clear that he was ‘closed off’ and said there was so “spooning or hugging”.

Ekin then brought up Elma’s comment about Curtis and Danielle “holding hands” in the morning when she was showing him her rings.

But the brunette beauty was still hurt and ended up walking off.

Curtis later admitted he “can’t have a relationship without trust” and feels like they’ve gone two steps back.

Ekin insisted she’s only behaving like that because she’s vulnerable and “falling for him” and was unhappy that didn’t reassure her.

Despite being committed to Ekin, Curtis said he’ll still talk to Danielle, leaving her baffled.

Later Danielle and Curtis have a chat and admitted he was surprised by Ekin’s reaction.

A fearful Ekin spotted the pair chatting and broke down in tears, leaving Ronnie to comfort her.

Where does this leave Curtis and Ekin?

Before she entered the villa, Danielle revealed that Curtis is in her top three.

Danielle said: “I like Scott, Luca and Curtis so I’ll be pulling them for chats.”

But she admitted things could get a little bit frosty between her and fiery actress Ekin-Su and said: “I already know Gabby and Elma and it’s going to be nice to meet Ekin-Su, though I’m not sure how she’ll react when I chat to Curtis?!”

She went on to say: “I was a lot younger going in the first time, I was 21! I entered during Casa Amor and lots of the boys were in strong couples! 8 years on, I’m older and know what I want, so I’m going to just go for it!

“I feel like I’m more confident in myself now, I’m more mature and I’ve grown up a lot since last time so I’ve learnt a lot.”

ONE lucky Irish punter has scooped a life changing sum after winning tonight’s Lotto draw.

The player bagged a whopping €4,642,646 in the money pull as 63,000 overall won prizes in the draw.

The winning numbers were 5, 12, 14, 27, 34, and 42.

And the bonus number to take home the overall prize was 25.

Lotto bosses have not yet revealed where the player is based or where they purchased the golden ticket.

But they urged the person who landed the winning ticket to make contact with HQ.

Those who win the Lotto have 90 days from the day of the draw to make contact.

They should contact the National Lottery claims department who will make arrangements for the prize to be collected.

And those who find out they did win should sign the back of their card and keep it somewhere safe.

The winning raffle number tonight was 3033, and it’s guessed that 62 winners claimed raffle prizes.

The prize amounted to €500 for each lucky player.

Meanwhile, there was no winner of the Lotto Plus draw, which would have made someone €1,000,000 better off.

There was also no winner of the Lotto plus two draw, with a prize set at a handy €250,000.

Separately, Lotto bosses have revealed where a ticket worth €500,000 was sold.

One delighted EuroMillions player is now half a million better off after taking home the big win last night.

The winning numbers were 4, 15, 24, 30 and the bonus number was 45.

Lotto bosses revealed that the golden ticket was bought at Centra at The Mell in Drogheda.

All players in the area and in Louth have been urged to check their tickets carefully.

Spokesperson for the National Lottery, Emma Monaghan said, “We’re absolutely delighted to celebrate this significant win for a Louth player.

“While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot worth €17,000,000, in total, over 29,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, including our EuroMillions Plus jackpot prize.

“This fantastic prize is a wonderful reminder that exciting moments can happen when you least expect them.”

Lotto bosses urged the winner to make contact[/caption]

RETAIL crime is “out of control” — with 2,000 incidents of staff abuse a day last year.

Theft also hit an all-time high, with 20million cases over the year — costing firms £2.2billion.

It means there were 55,000 crimes a day involving stolen goods.

Most incidents are linked to organised crime groups targeting multiple stores in the UK.

Meanwhile, the rate of abuse towards workers is now more than four times higher than in 2020, when there were just 455 cases a day.

And of last year’s incidents, 70 a day involved a weapon — a rate more than double the previous year, according to the survey by the British Retail Consortium.

Bosses are now putting millions into stopping crime — such as kitting out staff with body cams or adding security tags to more items.

Helen Dickinson, of the BRC, said: “Retail crime is spiralling out of control.

“People have been spat on, racially abused and threatened with machetes.

“With little faith in police, it is no wonder criminals feel they have a licence to steal, threaten, assault and abuse.”

LOVE Island fans are upset over one couple getting loads of airtime and want to see them booted out of the villa.

Harriett and Ronnie originally had a summer of love last year when they met on series eleven of the hit ITV show.

They were dumped out of the villa on day 26 after receiving the fewest public votes to save them.

On their return to normal life there were still question marks about whether they were actually re-entering public life as a couple.

Harriett had posted on Instagram calling Ronnie her heart but when asked, he seemed to say they were everything but a couple.

Appearing on So Wrong It’s Right with Olivia Attwood Ronnie said: “Since we’ve been out we’re still together, I don’t know how to say it because obviously you’re coupled up in there, so everyone thinks you’re in a couple. Obviously we’re not, but we are with each other.”

Followed by: “I’d say we’re seeing each other, not boyfriend and girlfriend but we are seeing each other, and we’ve been out on dates since the villa. We’re just seeing how things are going and they’re going really well so far.”

The couple subsequently split just monthly later and when they entered Love Island Allstars fans were surprised to see them coupling up again.  

A showdown between the two this week revealed that Ronnie had cheated on Harriett when they first left the villa, although he defended himself saying: “I kissed one other girl and held my hands up to it.”

Now they are back together again footballer Ronnie seems to be determined to get things right this time saying: “All I want to do is try to build the trust up. And treat you like the princess that you are.”

And: “I want to one day make you my girlfriend and make you the happiest girl in the world.”

The fact that the couple have history and are now seemingly cosying up to each other again has left fans annoyed.

One took to socials to say: “Ronnie n H. Your love island journey is already dun go home now we don’t need round two of this nonsense.”

Another agreed: “Is this love island or the Ronnie and Harriett show, it’s been 40 mins and I’ve had to resort to go on TikTok every time they come on my screen! Send them home.”

As the villa has just been rocked by a triple eviction one fan thought the pair were wasting precious spaces in the villa.

They said: “ronnie & harriett could just go home tomorrow realistically … if you’re in love with someone you already knew why are u on love island???”.
